Complete strip out of existing house. All shell and core works undertaken prior to complete fit-out/refurbishment. All temporary works installed with movement monitoring. Complete internal demolition as required and structural alterations undertaken to form a new internal layout. Addition of new 1200 square foot basement. Addition of 2nd floor extension to front and rear of the property. New roof. New 4-storey internal lift shaft.

For the middle house, closest to the teal house, we chose a well-behaved yellow color, and used white as the main color of the Oriel bow window, and for the lintels and eyebrow arches above the windows, and then added a gray, similar to the roof color, to bring out the details of the bow window, with appliqued metal embellishments, and to use it for the horizonal courses on the bow window, under the detail moulding, and within the main part of the brick. An orange door was the final color selection, inspired by the brick wallway, and lower courtyard, which is a distinctive feature of this house, but taken up a notch in Chroma, to be noticed first. Exterior painting and decorating work to the doors are not easy - unseen damage are hard to predict... In einer so schönen Stadt wie Görlitz zu fotografieren ist ein großes Geschenk. Für mich, der in Görlitz geboren wurde, war es daher eine große Ehre, für verschiedene Auftraggeber Aufnahmen zur möglichst großformatigen Nutzung in Druckprodukten aber natürlich auch im Internet arbeiten zu dürfen. So entstand eine Reihe von Aufnahmen, die als Tilt-Shift-Aufnahmen hochauflösend und gleichzeitig von Natur aus orthogonal entstanden. Gleichzeitig flankieren einige Panoramen das Portfolio, da sie einen grüßeren Blickwinkel ermöglichen. Besonders beliebt sind der Blick auf die Görlitzer Peterskirche - Architekturfotografie, wie sie die Baumeister des Mittelalters, der Gotik, der Renaissance und des Barocks mit Sicherheit sehr zu schätzen gewusst hätten. Als Architekturfotograf konnte ich zu verschiedenen Jahreszeiten die besten Blickwinkel einfangen und so bei Tag und bei Nacht viele wunderbare Stimmungen aufnehmen. Es ist natürlich nicht immer leicht, die richtige Projektion bei Panoramaaufnahmen zu wählen, denn die vielen prachtvollen Bürgerhäuser ergeben zusammen ein unglaubliches Spektrum an Motiven – Druckprodukte möchten mit allem werben, fotografiert werden kann aber immer nur ein Teil. So entstanden auch verschiedene Versionen, die dann in allen denkbaren Druckunterlagen Verwendung fanden. Es erscheint heute fast selbstverständlich, dass große Filmproduktionen so oft in der Stadt an der Neiße stattfinden. Architektur zu fotografieren ist hier eine fantastische Option.

Full front door restoration, from door being stripped back to bare wood, to new epoxy resin installation as a train and approved contractor. Followed up with hand painted primers, stain blocker and 3 top coat in satin. All made by hand painted skill, sand and dust off between coats. New door fitting was fully installed.
