Positioned near the base of iconic Camelback Mountain, “Outside In” is a modernist home celebrating the love of outdoor living Arizonans crave. The design inspiration was honoring early territorial architecture while applying modernist design principles. Dressed with undulating negra cantera stone, the massing elements of “Outside In” bring an artistic stature to the project’s design hierarchy. This home boasts a first (never seen before feature) — a re-entrant pocketing door which unveils virtually the entire home’s living space to the exterior pool and view terrace. A timeless chocolate and white palette makes this home both elegant and refined. Oriented south, the spectacular interior natural light illuminates what promises to become another timeless piece of architecture for the Paradise Valley landscape. The wall in the entry hall is now beautifully done in a Venetian finish - red was selected as an accent wall to compliment the touches of red in the living room. New wall sconces were selected (Houzz); the art - which was previously over the fireplace in his former home - was placed on the wall. The bench cushion was reupholstered and pillows were placed on the bench to soften the look. A lovely introduction to his special home.

This beautiful home in the natural setting at Coveney Ranch, Boerne, needed some updating and improvements to restore and revive it. We did this by expertly prepping the surfaces prior to applying new paint colors of 2 coats Sherwin Williams Conflex and Duration. The back porch needed repairs and cleaning before applying Cabot Australian Timber Oil Stain Sealer to the surfaces. As well, both the front and back doors were stripped, sanded, and exterior surfaces receiving Cabot stain and two coats of Spar Urethan
