With a primary focus on harnessing the stunning view out towards the Hudson river, our client wanted to use tones and stains that would be highlighted through natural light. As a result, the pairing of light tones of white and blue helped create this sense of continuity that we were searching for. As well as the incorporation of two central islands, the choice in materiality helped create a strong sense of contrast.

A blend of transitional design meets French Country architecture. The kitchen is a blend pops of teal along the double islands that pair with aged ceramic backsplash, hardwood and golden pendants. Mixes new with old-world design.

The goal was to make the kitchen reflective of the clients personalities While also keeping the design functional, warm, and tasteful.

This French country-inspired kitchen shows off a mixture of natural materials like marble and alder wood. The cabinetry from Grabill Cabinets was thoughtfully designed to look like furniture. The island, dining table, and bar work table allow for enjoying good food and company throughout the space. The large metal range hood from Raw Urth stands sentinel over the professional range, creating a contrasting focal point in the design. Cabinetry that stretches from floor to ceiling eliminates the look of floating upper cabinets while providing ample storage space. A Somerset Kitchen. Small, so the family went with cosy; a long, low cladded ceiling, deep sink and a tidy arrangement of Open Slatted Shelves and cupboards, all while letting the warm light pour in from the garden. An Aga makes for a central hub, and treasured finds dot the space.
