As part of a housing development surrounding Donath Lake, this Passive House in Colorado home is striking with its traditional farmhouse contours and estate-like French chateau appeal. The vertically oriented design features steeply pitched gable roofs and sweeping details giving it an asymmetrical aesthetic. The interior of the home is centered around the shared spaces, creating a grand family home. The two-story living room connects the kitchen, dining, outdoor patios, and upper floor living. Large scale windows match the stately proportions of the home with 8’ tall windows and 9’x9’ curtain wall windows, featuring tilt-turn windows within for approachable function. Black frames and grids appeal to the modern French country inspiration highlighting each opening of the building’s envelope.

The catering kitchen was completely transformed by removing the 'mudroom' area to create room for a large prep, storage, and cooking areas. The new space is hosts a custom Cremone-bolted dish cabinet, wine cooler, and double panel fridge /freezer. It has a large farmhouse sink and plenty of storage for prepping for large catering events and parties.

Painted maple cabinets, an apron-front sink, and lavish marble island countertop create a sophisticated setting for cooking and socializing alike. Nos clients, une famille avec 3 enfants, ont fait l'acquisition de ce bien avec une jolie surface de type loft (200 m²). Cependant, ce dernier manquait de personnalité et il était nécessaire de créer de belles liaisons entre les différents étages afin d'obtenir un tout cohérent et esthétique. ⁠ ⁠ Nos équipes, en collaboration avec @charlotte_fequet, ont travaillé des tons pastel, camaïeux de bleus afin de créer une continuité et d’amener le ciel bleu à l’intérieur. ⁠ ⁠ Pour le sol du RDC, nous avons coulé du béton ciré @okre.eu afin d'accentuer le côté loft tout en réduisant les coûts de dépose parquet. Néanmoins, pour les pièces à l'étage, un nouveau parquet a été posé pour plus de chaleur. ⁠ ⁠ Au RDC, la chambre parentale a été remplacée par une cuisine. Elle s'ouvre à présent sur le salon, la salle à manger ainsi que la terrasse. La nouvelle cuisine offre à la fois un côté doux avec ses caissons peints en Biscuit vert (@ressource_peintures) et un côté graphique grâce à ses suspensions @celinewrightparis et ses deux verrières sur mesure. ⁠ ⁠ Ce côté graphique est également présent dans les SDB avec des carreaux de ciments signés @mosaic.factory. On y retrouve des choix avant-gardistes à l'instar des carreaux de ciments créés en collaboration avec Valentine Bärg ou encore ceux issus de la collection "Forma".⁠ ⁠ Des menuiseries sur mesure viennent embellir le loft tout en le rendant plus fonctionnel. Dans le salon, les rangements sous l'escalier et la banquette ; le salon TV où nos équipes ont fait du semi sur mesure avec des caissons @ikeafrance ; les verrières de la SDB et de la cuisine ; ou encore cette somptueuse bibliothèque qui vient structurer le couloir

Ancient Elements Stoneworks helped a couple create a shabby chic kitchen with their existing cabinets and flooring. The Netuno Bordeaux helps pull in the colors of both while still creating a new modern look.

The luxurious kitchen was outfitted with custom cabinets which we designed and ordered from a Canadian manufacturer. All built in appliances are top of the line. The hood was custom-made per our specifications. For ease of care and maintenance, we opted for quartzite countertops and backsplashes as well as porcelain tile flooring. The floor border inlay is made of actual marble. This room awaits some pendant light fixtures and the breakfast table.

Located in a bucolic area of Marin County, just outside of San Rafael, the original ranch residence had been inconsistently remodeled over the years. The interior spaces had eight foot ceilings and were lifted in key areas of the house to expand the spaciousness and emit light. New fenestration and full height glass doors allow for wonderful light and improved connection to the outdoors. While keeping much of the existing structure the home was completely remodeled to expand the exterior living space with new decks, trellises, an outdoor kitchen and fireplace.
