Due to the property being a small single storey cottage, the customers wanted to make the most of the views from the rear of the property and create a feeling of space whilst cooking. The customers are keen cooks and spend a lot of their time in the kitchen space, so didn’t want to be stuck in a small room at the front of the house, which is where the kitchen was originally situated. They wanted to include a pantry and incorporate open shelving with minimal wall units, and were looking for a colour palette with a bit of interest rather than just light beige/creams.

Micro apartment in small space. Exposed Brick walls and Dark hardwood floors. Cabinets and Wardrobe by Nobilia cabinets and Bosch appliances. Pan rack, open shelves and two toned cabinets. Wood laminate against a black concrete reproduction laminate. Design made to help developer find best use of space.

Along the opposite wall, space underneath the staircase is utilized as bonus room for an undercounter microwave drawer and storage. A walk-in pantry is also located under the highest part of the staircase.

The challenge was to preserve the heritage of a small summer cabin that was built by the current owners' grandparents while providing a four season cabin for the extended family to enjoy. The original living room was kept intact while lifting it for a foundation and building insulated walls around it. The fireplace was caringly dismantled and reassembled using the same stones for the surrround. Le projet vise à rénover la cuisine d’un appartement situé à la Salle les Alpes. La volonté des clients était de pouvoir intégrer un lave-vaisselle, de retrouver un linéaire de plan de travail utile et de rafraîchir cet espace. Grâce à un dossier d'inspirations, ils ont pu se projeter et affiner leurs choix. Deux propositions ont été réalisées avec différentes dispositions et esthétiques. ​ Depuis, les travaux ont été réalisés.

Objectifs : -> Créer un appartement indépendant de la maison principale -> Faciliter la mise en œuvre du projet : auto construction -> Créer un espace nuit et un espace de jour bien distincts en limitant les cloisons -> Aménager l’espace Nous avons débuté ce projet de rénovation de maison en 2021. Les propriétaires ont fait l’acquisition d’une grande maison de 240m2 dans les hauteurs de Chambéry, avec pour objectif de la rénover eux-même au cours des prochaines années. Pour vivre sur place en même temps que les travaux, ils ont souhaité commencer par rénover un appartement attenant à la maison. Nous avons dessiné un plan leur permettant de raccorder facilement une cuisine au réseau existant. Pour cela nous avons imaginé une estrade afin de faire passer les réseaux au dessus de la dalle. Sur l’estrade se trouve la chambre et la salle de bain. L’atout de cet appartement reste la véranda située dans la continuité du séjour, elle est pensée comme un jardin d’hiver. Elle apporte un espace de vie baigné de lumière en connexion directe avec la nature.

This open plan kitchen and living room with original floor boards, exposed brick, and reclaimed bespoke kitchen unites the activities of cooking, relaxing and living in this home. The kitchen optimises the Brandler London look of raw wood with the industrial aura of the home’s setting.

This kitchen showcases a stunning transformation of a 30 years old kitchen in a downtown townhouse. Reclaimed wood kitchens have been slowly gaining momentum as a favored look. Once confined to the pages of magazines Inde-Art reclaimed wood kitchens are green, warm and unique. kitchen cabinets made from reclaimed teak wood were custom designed & build as per the layout. The cabinets subtle old patina and warm wood grains against black back splash, polished granite counter top & stainless steel appliance combines rustic wood with industrial chic perfectly. By moving the fridge to opposite wall and removing the wall made the opening to kitchen bigger and created a beautiful open space to sit & eat in the kitchen.
