We designed and built this 32" vanity set using one of the original windows and some of the lumber removed during demolition. Circa 1928. The hammered copper sink and industrial shop light compliment the oil rubbed bronze single hole faucet. Photography by Manolo Langis Located steps away from the beach, the client engaged us to transform a blank industrial loft space to a warm inviting space that pays respect to its industrial heritage. We use anchored large open space with a sixteen foot conversation island that was constructed out of reclaimed logs and plumbing pipes. The island itself is divided up into areas for eating, drinking, and reading. Bringing this theme into the bedroom, the bed was constructed out of 12x12 reclaimed logs anchored by two bent steel plates for side tables.

The original footprint of this powder room was a tight fit- so we utilized space saving techniques like a wall mounted toilet, an 18" deep vanity and a new pocket door. Blue dot "Dumbo" wallpaper, weathered looking oak vanity and a wall mounted polished chrome faucet brighten this space and will make you want to linger for a bit.

a powder room was created by eliminating the existing hall closet and stealing a little space from the existing bedroom behind. a linen wall covering was added with a nail head detail giving the powder room a polished look. This home’s noteworthy steel shipping container construction material, offers a streamlined aesthetic and industrial vibe, with sustainable attributes and strength. Recycled shipping containers are fireproof, impervious to water and stronger than traditional building materials. Inside, muscular concrete walls, burnished cedar beams and custom oak cabinetry give the living spaces definition, decorative might, and storage and seating options.
