The heavy fireplace was replaced with a simple large scale tile surround and an electric fireplace installed. The long living room called for a new furniture layout, and a custom modular sofa was purchased creating a cozy space for family and friends. The original wood panelling in the entrance was refinished and custom closet doors were made to mimic the reveals and blend in with the entrance wall.
