Voici une cuisine laquée noir mat avec un îlot blanc. Une belle cuisine qui se distingue par son élégance sans négliger tous les aspects pratiques d’une pièce de vie. La pièce se veut moderne et lumineuse avec de grands espaces de rangements et d’imposantes géométries. Les crédences blanches sont assorties à " l’îlot" en L qui vient épouser les hautes colonnes de meubles noirs. La lumière est très présente grâce à l’ensemble des Leds encastrées sous les meubles hauts, et grâce aux luminaires vintage suspendus. Tout est pris en compte dans la conception d’intérieur pour réaliser une cuisine agréable, fonctionnelle et unique. L’épi (presqu’ile) est composé de meuble blancs et d’un plan en céramique blanche soutenu par un meuble déco en bois vintage. Cette composition, comme un trompe l’œil, ajoute une note d’élégance et de légèreté à la cuisine. Ce meuble de cuisine sur mesure semble flotter au milieu de la pièce comme un îlot central.

This room, formally a dining room was opened up to the great room and turned into a new kitchen. The entertainment style kitchen comes with a lot of custom detailing. The island is designed to look like a modern piece of furniture. The St. Laurent marble top is set down into a mahogany wood for a furniture-like feel. A custom server is between the kitchen and great room. The server mimics the island design with the mahogany and marble. We incorporated two lamps in the server to enhance its furniture-like feel. Built in collaboration with Richcraft Homes, this new industrial modern kitchen was a winner at the 2017 GOHBA Housing Design Awards. Symmetry was the key to success in this confident design. Elegant and sleek, the suede black contrasts with the horizontal grain of modern and soothing light walnut. The two tall blocks on either end of the counter anchor the horizontal full depth uppers, showing off the revealed lower section in walnut. The white granite counters are radiant on the generous island. All in all, this kitchen has a sizable amount of work space and storage. Potvin’s leading edge materials, bold design and ingenuity lead to a tremendous, award-winning kitchen.

Our Maku series is a collection of porcelain stoneware inspired by the timeless allure of natural stone, stocked in warm, soft shades. Complemented by dark and light graphic decors that come in various patterns, randomly mixed.

The Owner's charge was to create a Black & White kitchen that was RED all over. Michael Johnson Cabinetmaker did a superb job of fabricating the cabinets and even more importantly finishing them to our specifications. The black and white checkerboard ceramic tile floor added to the color pattern. The 1x1 Interstyle red tile inlaid into the Interstyle white tile backsplash brought even more red to the project. The stainless steel Wolf Range with the red knobs contributed not only a great cooking system but a splash of red to the project. The glass block window replaced a smaller window in order to bring more natural light into the space without compromising privacy.

Das Flair des Zeitgeistes spiegelt sich in der Küchentechnik der SieMatic-Küche wider: Neben hoch eingebauten Elektrogeräten wie Kühlschrank, Backofen, Konvektomat und Weinkühler bietet der Fernseher ein innovatives Multimediaerlebnis auch beim Kochen und Backen.

Subsequent additions are covered with living green walls to deemphasize stylistic conflicts imposed on a 1940’s Tudor and become backdrop surrounding a kitchen addition. On the interior, further added architectural inconsistencies are edited away, and the language of the Tudor’s original reclaimed integrity is referenced for the addition. Sympathetic to the home, windows and doors remain untrimmed and stark plaster walls contrast the original black metal windows. Sharp black elements contrast fields of white. With a ceiling pitch matching the existing and chiseled dormers, a stark ceiling hovers over the kitchen space referencing the existing homes plaster walls. Grid members in windows and on saw scored paneled walls and cabinetry mirror the machine age windows as do exposed steel beams. The exaggerated white field is pierced by an equally exaggerated 13 foot black steel tower that references the existing homes steel door and window members. Glass shelves in the tower further the window parallel. Even though it held enough dinner and glassware for eight, its thin members and transparent shelves defy its massive nature, allow light to flow through it and afford the kitchen open views and the feeling of continuous space. The full glass at the end of the kitchen reveres a grouping of 50 year old Hemlocks. At the opposite end, a window close to the peak looks up to a green roof.

This entire project has transformed this house into an open floor plan, with a modern look made to last throughout the years. All new stainless steel appliances, New Cermaic tile flooring and Quartz coutnertops should help our clients kitchen stay looking brand new for years to come.
