We redesigned the lay-out by moving the kitchen to the opposite wall and freeing up lots of room for new folding back doors, a dining table and new entertaining space and extended access to the garden. The sink has been placed under a new modern widow with the hob further down on the main run, leaving the island clear for preparation and additional storage. The worktop overhang at the end provides plenty of space for a couple of bar stools for family or children having breakfast - Main kitchen run in Shaker style Pale Grey - Island in Dark Grey - 30mm quartz worktop in White Carrara - Red glass splashback to complement the grey kitchen scheme

Mrs. Ely knew something was missing from her splendid new kitchen, she came into our Colchester showroom for advice and she was shown just how luxurious our bespoke painted glass splashbacks are. This splashback offers a luxury alternative to tiles, they're easy to clean and they look fantastic. We sent our expert craftsmen around to Mrs. Ely's house at her convenience to measure and template the kitchen so that she wouldn't have to move any power sockets or get a new hood. All of this glass was manufactured on-site here at Kent Blaxill, Colchester.

Top cabinetry has a horizontal wood streak in soft pastel beige, while the bottom has a vertical streak in warm oak wood finish with medium wood counter top.
