he owner of this house wanted to give a “facelift” to his newly purchased home and convert it into a modern design residence. We translated their vision into this magnificent modern-looking house. This project included a complete redesign of the exterior of the house, including the backyard landscaping and a full-size, infinity-edge pool and custom jacuzzi. All the custom concrete work, swimming pool, and pool-side BBQ island, complete with sink and mini-fridge gave this homeowner their own paradise getaway right in the heart of Beverly Hills.

The distinctive transitional exterior welcomes friends and family with interesting peaked rooflines, stone pillars, stucco details and a symmetrical bank of windows. A three-car garage and custom details throughout give this compact home the appeal and amenities of a much-larger design and are a nod to the Craftsman and Mediterranean designs that influenced this updated architectural gem. A custom wood entry with sidelights match the triple transom windows featured throughout the house and echo the trim and features seen in the spacious three-car garage. While concentrated on one main floor and a lower level, there is no shortage of living and entertaining space inside. The main level includes more than 2,100 square feet, with a roomy 31 by 18-foot living room and kitchen combination off the central foyer that’s perfect for hosting parties or family holidays. The left side of the floor plan includes a 10 by 14-foot dining room, a laundry and a guest bedroom with bath. To the right is the more private spaces, with a relaxing 11 by 10-foot study/office which leads to the master suite featuring a master bath, closet and 13 by 13-foot sleeping area with an attractive peaked ceiling. The walkout lower level offers another 1,500 square feet of living space, with a large family room, three additional family bedrooms and a shared bath.

Inspired by wide, flat landscapes and stunning views, Prairie style exteriors embrace horizontal lines, low-pitched roofs, and natural materials. This stunning two-story Modern Prairie home is no exception. With a pleasing symmetrical shape and modern materials, this home is clean and contemporary yet inviting at the same time. A wide, welcoming covered front entry is located front and center, flanked by dual garages and a symmetrical roofline with two chimneys. Wide windows emphasize the flow between exterior and interior and offer a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape.

Positioned near the base of iconic Camelback Mountain, “Outside In” is a modernist home celebrating the love of outdoor living Arizonans crave. The design inspiration was honoring early territorial architecture while applying modernist design principles. Dressed with undulating negra cantera stone, the massing elements of “Outside In” bring an artistic stature to the project’s design hierarchy. This home boasts a first (never seen before feature) — a re-entrant pocketing door which unveils virtually the entire home’s living space to the exterior pool and view terrace. A timeless chocolate and white palette makes this home both elegant and refined. Oriented south, the spectacular interior natural light illuminates what promises to become another timeless piece of architecture for the Paradise Valley landscape. A modern home designed with traditional forms. The main body of the house boasts 12' main floor ceilings opening into a 2 story family room and stair tower surrounded in glass panels. The curved wings have a limestone base with stucco finishes above. Unigue detailing includes Dekton paneling at the entry and steel C-beams as headers above the windows.
