Even as an intimate greeting space, the foyer offers visitors an impressive view of what lies ahead. Repeating materials and a neutral color scheme give the home a sense of flow that feels as natural as the surfaces themselves. Bobbie found the vintage Turkish rug at auction, while the sideboard was inherited from Matthew's grandmother. With regard to the home's nearly pristine interior, there was not much work to be done. Foyer opening into a lovely kitchen and family room mid century design. Updated carpet stairs, and railings opens up to a lovely vinyl flooring and updated kitchen, family room, and dining room. Two tone cabinets with a fun mosaic backsplash blue accents into the living room such as the couch, and also dining room kitchen chairs.

Ingresso signorile con soffitti alti decorati da profilo nero su fondo ocra rosato. Il pavimento in esagonette di cotto risaliva all'inizio del secolo scorso, come il palazzo degli anni '20 del 900. ricreare una decorazione raffinata ma che non stonasse è stata la priorità in questo progetto. Le porte erano in noce marrone e le abbiamo dipinte di nero opaco. il risultato finale è un ambiente ricercato e di carattere che si sposa perfettamente con le personalità marcate dei due colti Committenti.

A support column and the nature niche (a hallmark of many mid century buildings) had both been clad in brick. (see "before" pictures). The brick was removed and they were dressed with mahogany-veneered plywood to tie in with the original mahogany doors for a sleeker look that is also easier to maintain. How do you flip a blank canvas into a Home? Make it as personable as you can. I follow my own path when it comes to creativity. As a designer, you recognize many trends, but my passion is my only drive. What is Home? Its where children come home from school. It's also where people have their gatherings, a place most people use as a sanctuary after a long day. For me, a home is a place meant to be shared. It's somewhere to bring people together. Home is about sharing, yet it's also an outlet, and I design it so that my clients can feel they could be anywhere when they are at Home. Those quiet corners where you can rest and reflect are essential even for a few minutes; The texture of wood, the plants, and the small touches like the rolled-up towels help set the mood. It's no accident that you forget where you are when you step into a Master-bathroom – that's the art of escape! There's no need to compromise your desires; it may appeal to your head as much as your heart.
