For this stunning Dining Room which overlooks the Huron River the selection of the modern interpretation of a refectory table seemed to be the perfect choice. The brushed steel stretcher adds to the modern appeal. The uniquely designed dining chair was the perfect companion. Without host chairs you are able to appreciate the beautiful detail of the chair and table base along with a sophisticated color palette. The Chandelier is sleek and un assuming but still has a powerful impact.

design by Pulp Design Studios | http://pulpdesignstudios.com/ The goal of this whole home refresh was to create a fun, fresh and collected look that was both kid-friendly and livable. Cosmetic updates included selecting vibrantly colored and happy hues, bold wallpaper and modern accents to create a dynamic family-friendly home.

For this two-story Queen Anne-style Edwardian, we utilized a neutral color palette of ivory, greige, and taupe with splashes of watery blues and greens.The clients are a couple with hectic work schedules who needed a tranquil retreat where they could relax and recharge. Throughout the home, we painted walls, ceilings, and trim a clean, crisp white paint. Against this shell, streamlined silhouettes and organic shapes, create continuity from room to room. As a counterpoint to classical architecture, we installed mid-century styled furnishings and contemporary art.

Located in Rye on the Mornington Peninsula this addition helps to create a family home from the original 1960’s weekender. Although in good condition the late modernist home lacked the living spaces and good connections to the garden that the family required. The owners were very keen to honour and respect the original dwelling. Minimising change where possible especially to the finely crafted timber ceiling and dress timber windows typical of the period. The addition is located on a corner of the original house, east facing windows to the existing living spaces become west facing glazing to the additions. A new entry is located at the junction of old and new creating direct access from front to back.
