This gorgeous home renovation was a fun project to work on. The goal for the whole-house remodel was to infuse the home with a fresh new perspective while hinting at the traditional Mediterranean flare. We also wanted to balance the new and the old and help feature the customer’s existing character pieces. Let's begin with the custom front door, which is made with heavy distressing and a custom stain, along with glass and wrought iron hardware. The exterior sconces, dark light compliant, are rubbed bronze Hinkley with clear seedy glass and etched opal interior. Moving on to the dining room, porcelain tile made to look like wood was installed throughout the main level. The dining room floor features a herringbone pattern inlay to define the space and add a custom touch. A reclaimed wood beam with a custom stain and oil-rubbed bronze chandelier creates a cozy and warm atmosphere. In the kitchen, a hammered copper hood and matching undermount sink are the stars of the show. The tile backsplash is hand-painted and customized with a rustic texture, adding to the charm and character of this beautiful kitchen. The powder room features a copper and steel vanity and a matching hammered copper framed mirror. A porcelain tile backsplash adds texture and uniqueness. Lastly, a brick-backed hanging gas fireplace with a custom reclaimed wood mantle is the perfect finishing touch to this spectacular whole house remodel. Italy's fabled Tuscany region is legendary for its beauty, food and wine culture, and distinctive architecture—a rustic mix of natural, sunny hues and textures that's reflected in this Tuscan-inspired Kitchen transformation filled with earthy color, charming patterns, and rustic patinas. The earthy texture plays off the glazed finish of the custom cabinetry and the smooth dark granite countertops to create visual interest. Whimsical classical patterned tiles behind the range and the perimeter walls, coordinated to the sun-kissed brick walls, serve as a dramatic backdrop to the light-colored neutral cabinetry. Large tuscan u-shaped dark wood floor, brown floor and coffered ceiling eat-in kitchen photo in Orange County with raised-panel cabinets, distressed cabinets, granite countertops, beige backsplash, travertine backsplash, stainless steel appliances, no island, gray countertops and an undermount sink.

Unique Old World home continues the look throughout with complimenting Different Granite surfaces and rustic Copper Stove Vent Hood, Stone Island and Built-in Refrigerator, Pendant Lighting and solid wood Knotty Alder Distressed Cabinets.

Hand finished cabinets with Wyoming fossil stone countertops. 200 million old fish skeletons decorate the surfaces. Produce is from gardens outside house. Floor is white concrete coated to look aged. Lighting is led.

This 2500 SF. home was purchased with a great private lot and the previous owner had already made some substantial upgrades by adding Brazilian cherry flooring on most of the main level, beautiful french doors and ceiling medallions...it was fun and fitting to continue this French/ Euro country theme throughout the home with out committing too heavily to it; by up-grading the Kitchen with new cream toned porcelain floor tile, adding a custom designed and hand painted 10' x 3' Island with an Oceanic Bordeaux stone top, scabos travertine and black marble on the back splash and antiqued, custom painted cabinetry for an "old worldly effect. In the rest of the home; light fixtures were up-graded and swapped out for those with a Euro country vibe. Fresh paint and new and antique furnishings were added in soft creams, greens, blues, browns and reds.
