We helped conceptualize then build a waterfront home on a fabulous lot, with the goal to maximize the indoor/outdoor connection. Enormous code-compliant glass walls grant uninterrupted vistas, plus we supplement light and views with hurricane-strength transoms above the glass walls. Both functional and decorative pools are constructed on home’s three sides. The pool’s edges run under the home’s perimeter, and from most angles, the residence appears to be floating. From the front yard, can see into the living room, through the house, to the water/inlet behind it!

This estate is a transitional home that blends traditional architectural elements with clean-lined furniture and modern finishes. The fine balance of curved and straight lines results in an uncomplicated design that is both comfortable and relaxing while still sophisticated and refined. The red-brick exterior façade showcases windows that assure plenty of light. Once inside, the foyer features a hexagonal wood pattern with marble inlays and brass borders which opens into a bright and spacious interior with sumptuous living spaces. The neutral silvery grey base colour palette is wonderfully punctuated by variations of bold blue, from powder to robin’s egg, marine and royal. The anything but understated kitchen makes a whimsical impression, featuring marble counters and backsplashes, cherry blossom mosaic tiling, powder blue custom cabinetry and metallic finishes of silver, brass, copper and rose gold. The opulent first-floor powder room with gold-tiled mosaic mural is a visual feast.

The gentleman's bar in the lower level is tucked into the darker section of the space and feels like a high end lounge. The built in seating around the wood columns divides the lower level into spaces while keeping the whole area connected for entertaining. Nothing was left out when it came to the design~ the custom wood paneling and hand painted wall finishes were all in the homeowners mind from day one.

Cet appartement est le résultat d'un plateau traversant, divisé en deux pour y implanter 2 studios de 20m2 chacun. L'espace étant très restreint, il a fallut cloisonner de manière astucieuse chaque pièce. La cuisine vient alors s'intégrer tout en longueur dans le couloir et s'adosser à la pièce d'eau. Nous avons disposé le salon sous pentes, là ou il y a le plus de luminosité. Pour palier à la hauteur sous plafond limitée, nous y avons intégré de nombreux placards de rangements. D'un côté et de l'autre de ce salon, nous avons conservé les deux foyers de cheminée que nous avons décidé de révéler et valoriser.

There isn't a room in this house that doesn't have a beach view. The open concept of this home allows the kitchen, dining area and the family room to all join and have some of the best views.

Before our transformation, dark wood flooring drew the eye downward. After, a beautiful Tufenkian hand-knotted, dyed wool rug matches the artwork over the fireplace, taking your eyes on a colorful journey around the space. It’s worth investing in a quality rug, and I always encourage my clients to purchase hand-made artwork that you love, made by a local or regional artist. Details matter, when it comes to luxury, so taking time to get it right is absolutely worth the attention, an investment you’ll enjoy for years to come.
