An open concept room, this family room has all it needs to create a cozy inviting space. The mismatched sofas were a purposeful addition adding some depth and warmth to the space. The clients were new to this area, but wanted to use as much of their own items as possible. The yellow alpaca blanket purchased when traveling to Peru was the start of the scheme and pairing it with their existing navy blue sofa. The only additions were the cream sofa the round table and tying it all together with some custom pillows.

In our design focused on creating a home that acts as an art gallery and an entertaining space without remodeling. Priorities based on our client’s lifestyle. By turning the typical living room into a gallery space we created an area for conversation and cocktails. We tucked the TV watching away into a secondary bedroom. We designed the master bedroom around the artwork over the bed. The low custom bold blue upholstered bed is the main color in that space throwing your attention to the art.

The open plan living area in this light-filled penthouse apartment features contemporary furniture with a laid-back vibe. The textured, pure wool rug is inspired by Morocco. The timber and polyurethane entertainment unit adds a warmth of colour and the laid-back armchair is the perfect spot to chill out.

純粋なエレガントインテリアでは大げさになるので、細かいところで「外す」工夫をしています。 壁紙はピンク基調ですが花柄ではなく、葉っぱもたくさん描かれたボタニカル柄です。また、サイドテーブルやセンターテーブルに金属や石など、木以外の素材をミックスしています。

限られた空間の中に人間用の家具と猫用の家具を両方置くと窮屈で結局人も猫も寛げない空間になってしまいがち。 また、既製の猫用家具には過剰なデザインのものも多く、寸法なども当然合わないのでDIYで作ることにした。 人間用の家具（テレビ台、本棚、飾り棚）と猫用の家具を兼用する作りにすることで空間もすっきり、人も猫も寛げる。 こちらは21mm厚のシナランバーで製作したキャットステップ。一段の段差は35cm程度。幅は空間の都合上18cmとやや狭いが我が家の猫たちは特に落下するようなこともなく問題なく使用している。ちなみに写真中の猫は当時15歳のシニア猫。

This new home was built on an old lot in Dallas, TX in the Preston Hollow neighborhood. The new home is a little over 5,600 sq.ft. and features an expansive great room and a professional chef’s kitchen. This 100% brick exterior home was built with full-foam encapsulation for maximum energy performance. There is an immaculate courtyard enclosed by a 9' brick wall keeping their spool (spa/pool) private. Electric infrared radiant patio heaters and patio fans and of course a fireplace keep the courtyard comfortable no matter what time of year. A custom king and a half bed was built with steps at the end of the bed, making it easy for their dog Roxy, to get up on the bed. There are electrical outlets in the back of the bathroom drawers and a TV mounted on the wall behind the tub for convenience. The bathroom also has a steam shower with a digital thermostatic valve. The kitchen has two of everything, as it should, being a commercial chef's kitchen! The stainless vent hood, flanked by floating wooden shelves, draws your eyes to the center of this immaculate kitchen full of Bluestar Commercial appliances. There is also a wall oven with a warming drawer, a brick pizza oven, and an indoor churrasco grill. There are two refrigerators, one on either end of the expansive kitchen wall, making everything convenient. There are two islands; one with casual dining bar stools, as well as a built-in dining table and another for prepping food. At the top of the stairs is a good size landing for storage and family photos. There are two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, as well as a movie room. What makes this home so special is the Casita! It has its own entrance off the common breezeway to the main house and courtyard. There is a full kitchen, a living area, an ADA compliant full bath, and a comfortable king bedroom. It’s perfect for friends staying the weekend or in-laws staying for a month.

Living Room Design as part of a complete Interior Design for a Lower Ground Flat in Cheltenham. Formerly a wooden wardrobe door, the oval dining table takes centre stage within this cosy seating area. A subtle patterned rug was sourced to accompany, in colours to compliment the whole scheme.
