We chose a beautiful inky blue for this London Living room to feel fresh in the daytime when the sun streams in and cozy in the evening when it would otherwise feel quite cold. The colour also complements the original fireplace tiles. We took the colour across the walls and woodwork, including the alcoves, and skirting boards, to create a perfect seamless finish. Balanced by the white floor, shutters and lampshade there is just enough light to keep it uplifting and atmospheric. The final additions were a complementary green velvet sofa, luxurious touches of gold and brass and a glass table and mirror to make the room sparkle by bouncing the light from the metallic finishes across the glass and onto the mirror

Detail of tile niche, granite mantle, and new ultra hi-def TV. Simulated wood-grain tile is from Italy and is 8" high x 48" long. Vertical metal edging hides hides the tile edges. Granite mantle helps to deflect heat from the fireplace away from the TV. Granite is "Absolute Black", 2cm thickness. Speaker in foreground is a KEF brand passive subwoofer, powered by an amp housed in the recessed gear rack.

This project was an absolute pleasure to work on. The clients wanted a complete revamp of their living room and to change their existing dining room into an office. They had never used an interior designer before and were initially nervous. However they put their complete trust in us and the result was two beautifully revamped rooms with a lovely flow between the two.

The 3615™ gas fireplace is the smallest model in the three-part Linear Gas Fireplace Series and is perfect for more intimate spaces, such as bedrooms, bathrooms and cozy dens. Like its larger counterparts, the 4415™ gas fireplace and 6015™ gas fireplace, this gas fireplace showcases a stunning fire view unlike anything else available. Its sleek, heavy gauge steel firebox displays tall, dynamic flames over a bed of reflective crushed glass which is illuminated by bottom-lit Accent Lights and accompanied by a unique fireback and optional interior fire art.
