This Point Loma home got a major upgrade! The laundry room has an upgraded look with a retro feel. The cabinetry has a mint shade reminiscent of the popular 60s color trends. Not only does this laundry room have new geometric flooring, but there is also even a pet station. Laundry will never be a boring task in this room!

This hardworking mudroom-laundry space creates a clear transition from the garage and side entrances into the home. The large gray cabinet has plenty of room for coats. Gratifying Green is the minty color of the custom-made soft-close cabinets in this Lakewood Ranch laundry room upgrade. The countertop comes from a quartz remnant we chose with the homeowner, and the new floor is a black and white checkered glaze ceramic.

This home built in 2000 was dark and the kitchen was partially closed off. They wanted to open it up to the outside and update the kitchen and entertaining spaces. We removed a wall between the living room and kitchen and added sliders to the backyard. The beautiful Openseas painted cabinets definitely add a stylish element to this previously dark brown kitchen. Removing the big, bulky, dark built-ins in the living room also brightens up the overall space.

The laundry room was a major transformation that needed to occur, once a dark and gloomy dungeon is now a bright, and whimsical room that would make anyone be happy, doing the household chore of laundry. The Havana Ornate Silver tile flooring and Ice White backsplash tile translated nicely against the custom cabinetry. To accommodate the newest furriest member of the family, a hidden custom litter box pull-out was included in the cabinetry and cute cat door that would allow the new kitten to get in and out through its very own passageway.

Who said a Laundry Room had to be dull and boring? This colorful laundry room is loaded with storage both in its custom cabinetry and also in its 3 large closets for winter/spring clothing. The black and white 20x20 floor tile gives a nod to retro and is topped off with apple green walls and an organic free-form backsplash tile! This room serves as a doggy mud-room, eating center and luxury doggy bathing spa area as well. The organic wall tile was designed for visual interest as well as for function. The tall and wide backsplash provides wall protection behind the doggy bathing station. The bath center is equipped with a multifunction hand-held faucet with a metal hose for ease while giving the dogs a bath. The shelf underneath the sink is a pull-out doggy eating station and the food is located in a pull-out trash bin.

By taking extra space from the garage we were able to add an additional 7 custom cabinets. These were built specifically to help organize a busy family with three boys. The 3 lower cabinets are 32x24" bins built to accommodate sporting gear. Upper cabinets and side pantry cabinet all built with a purpose in mind to make everyday life easier.
