Step into this vibrant and inviting kitchen that combines modern design with playful elements. The centrepiece of this kitchen is the 20mm Marbled White Quartz worktops, which provide a clean and sophisticated surface for preparing meals. The light-coloured quartz complements the overall bright and airy ambience of the kitchen. The cabinetry, with doors constructed from plywood, introduces a natural and warm element to the space. The distinctive round cutouts serve as handles, adding a touch of uniqueness to the design. The cabinets are painted in a delightful palette of Inchyra Blue and Ground Pink, infusing the kitchen with a sense of fun and personality. A pink backsplash further enhances the playful colour scheme while providing a stylish and easy-to-clean surface. The kitchen's brightness is accentuated by the strategic use of rose gold elements. A rose gold tap and matching pendant lights introduce a touch of luxury and sophistication to the design. The island situated at the centre enhances functionality as it provides additional worktop space and an area for casual dining and entertaining. This MandiCasa project exemplifies the art of making the most of petite kitchens, showing it is possible to fulfill the user’s every wish in both style and function, regardless of square footage. For their apartment on New York’s Upper East Side, our client wanted their kitchen re-design to include a high-counter island that would open to the living room, providing a convenient area for preparing and enjoying meals. Aesthetically, they desired a more urban yet warm feel that would enhance the interior of their home. A cozy, cottage kitchen featuring gray semi-custom cabinetry, satin brass hardware and faucet, matte white Moroccan tile, white oak floating shelves, and a custom patina steel faceted hood. It wouldn't be an RD kitchen without a custom island, for this small space we had to get creative with the island configuration. Hot-rolled steel legs hold up the seating end of the island and a microwave drawer faces the range on the backside.

The existing kitchen was completely remodeled to create a compact chef's kitchen. The client is a true chef, who teaches cooking classes, and we were able to get a professional grade kitchen in an 11x7 footprint! The new island creates adequate prep space. The bookcases on the front add a ton of storage and interesting display in an otherwise useless walkway. The South wall is the exposed brick original to the 1900's home. To compliment the brick, we chose a warm nutmeg stain in cherry cabinets. The countertops are a durable quartz that look like marble but are sturdy enough for this work horse kitchen. The retro pendants are oversized to add a lot of interest in this small space. Talk about bringing a kitchen up to date! Little details like the bin pulls and farmhouse sink give a nod to the distant past, but the general tone for this Hood River kitchen is "today." The white on white palette leaves the homeowner free to accessorize at will, but is grounded by the wood accents and beadboard texture of the cabinetry. The dining nook with beautiful distressed table brings people into the kitchen to enjoy time together and gives the area a homey feeling. Medallion Cabinetry will stand up to many years of use and preserve the look of this lovely kitchen for countless meals and gatherings. As always, the design was carefully curated by Allen's Fine Woodworking to ensure the space allows the homeowner to work smarter, not harder.
