Kitchens are a part of our personality. Sophisticated yet so simple. The cabinets are maple with nothing but a natural finish. Highlighting the beautiful character of maple wood. Slab doors on frameless construction. Simple hardware and a long butcher block island. Tile that really draws your eye to the shelves. This modern style kitchen is a great example of how to achieve a sleek and stylish look on a budget. The use of simple and clean lines, paired with a neutral color scheme, creates a timeless and elegant design. The cabinets are made from affordable materials, such as melamine, while still providing ample storage space. The black hardware and fixtures give a modern edge to the overall look of the kitchen.

An outdated 1920's kitchen in Bayside Queens was turned into a refreshed, classic and timeless space that utilized the very limited space to its maximum capacity. The cabinets were once outdated and a dark brown that made the space look even smaller. Now, they are a bright white, accompanied by white subway tile, a light quartzite countertop and brushed brass hardware throughout. What made all the difference was the use of the dark porcelain floors as a great contrast to all the white. We were also diligent to keep the hold extractor a clear glass and stainless steel.

Cambria Britannica in a honed finished was used on the countertops.

This simple yet "jaw-dropping" kitchen design uses 2 contemporary cabinet door styles with a sampling of white painted cabinets to contrast the gray-toned textured foil cabinets for a unique and dramatic look. A small enclosed kitchen is very common in many homes such as the home that we remodeled here. Opening a wall to allow natural light to penetrate the space is a must. When budget is important the solution can be as you see in this project - the wall was opened and removed but a structural post remained and it was incorporated in the design. The blue modern flat paneled cabinets was a perfect choice to contras the very familiar gray scale color scheme but it’s still compliments it since blue is in the correct cold color spectrum. Notice the great black windows and the fantastic awning window facing the pool. The awning window is great to be able to serve the exterior sitting area near the pool. Opening the wall also allowed us to compliment the kitchen with a nice bar/island sitting area without having an actual island in the space. The best part of this kitchen is the large built-in pantry wall with a tall wine fridge and a lovely coffee area that we built in the sitting area made the kitchen expend into the breakfast nook and doubled the area that is now considered to be the kitchen.
