The glass doors provided openness to the space that gave the illusion of a larger kitchen. Meanwhile the countertop overhang provides an informal eating bar which also doubles as a place for guests to sit during dinner parties.

We moved the kitchen in this Rockport Cottage Conversion form a central to a corner location within the home. This provided ample light form windows and lovely views of the manicured yard.

Nous avons cloisonné des portes inutiles qui sont changées en bibliothèque; dans la suite parentale, nos experts ont créé une tête de lit sur-mesure et ajusté un dressing Ikea qui s'élève à présent jusqu'au plafond. Bien qu'intemporel, ce bien n'en est pas moins singulier. A titre d'exemple, la salle de bain qui est un clin d'œil aux lavabos d'école ou encore le salon et son mur tapissé de petites feuilles dorées.

Storage, storage, storage! From family china to dog kibble and many things in between, this combined kitchen/laundry room is certainly not short of storage or counterspace.

This 1949, 1020 SF home was in need of an update to better suite the needs of the owners. As empty nesters, the couple wanted better storage, flow and livability. This project entailed design and construction on the entire home. We took one of the three bedrooms and split it to enlarge the tiny bathroom and to create a walk in closet. The new bath is accessible from both the Primary Bedroom closet and the main living room. The original Primary Bedroom Closet was closed off from the bedroom and opened into the kitchen to create a step-in pantry complete with wine storage unit. The new pantry keeps the kitchen free of counter top clutter. The kitchen remained in the same footprint as the original kitchen but moved the range to the sink run. This allowed better flow through the kitchen to the outside entertainment area. The cabinet depth on the pantry side of the kitchen is narrower than normal to allow a better walk through. This Kitchen fixtures really complement the style of the home. The iridescent countertops are a stunning focal point, and the copper slate backsplash is full height to give the Kitchen its finishing touch. All of this is complemented by the hammered copper farmhouse sink and glass pendant over it.

One word describes the lake level after the remodel... FUN! We went from drab brown and black to bright and colorful. The concrete floors were refinished a beautiful blue. Cabinets went from black to a soft gray. We kept the original stone around the bar, and replaced wood countertops with a beautiful quartzite. An outdated backsplash went from bland to bold with this marble geometric pattern. Multi-color velvet from Jane Churchill (Cowtan & Tout) covers the bar stools by Tomlinson. Credenza is by Planum.

La cucina era come conformazione molto stretta, l'idea è stata quella di personalizzarla e renderla un ambiente accogliente grazie al colore rosa utilizzato per le pareti e gli accessori in ottone. I mobili cucina sono in stile retrò e rendono l'ambiente particolare ed alternativo rispetto alla solita cucina moderna.
