This modern farmhouse kitchen features a beautiful combination of Navy Blue painted and gray stained Hickory cabinets that’s sure to be an eye-catcher. The two beautiful blue countertop towers that frame the modern wood hood and cooktop are two intricately designed larder cabinets built to meet the homeowner’s exact needs. The larder cabinet on the left is designed as a beverage center with apothecary drawers designed for housing beverage stir sticks, sugar packets, creamers, and other misc. coffee and home bar supplies. This kitchen is another that has been designed and installed by us in the local Horsham area. It has been designed by George Harvey from our Horsham showroom and completely installed by our own local kitchen installation team. This kitchen is styled on a classic country kitchen with shaker kitchen furniture, solid oak worktops and complementing kitchen tiles. The kitchen furniture used for this kitchen is from kitchen manufacturer Trend which is the trade arm of the British kitchen maker Mereway. A Trend kitchen utilises all the experience of the Mereway brand but simply focuses on a core range of simply designed kitchen furniture. The Trend shaker range is perfect for this kitchen as the straight-lined shaker door helps to complement other kitchen elements. The exact door that has been used for this kitchen is the matt foil plain shaker door. The plain design of this shaker door utilises a defined chunky frame which is a classic feature of a country style kitchen. The shade used is ivory which is a creamy shade adding to the country aesthetic. This door is available in eight other plainer shades from white to cream and beige shades like mussel and pebble as well as grey shades like cashmere and dust grey. This kitchen uses stainless steel bar handles for easy access and also a folding door corner unit helping to maximise space.

Transitional Kitchen taken from late 1950's to contemporary today. We opted to take down a wall separating the mudroom from the kitchen which allowed us to put in this pretty bar peninsula with overhead bar cook-top vent. Where you see the refrigerator used to be a very small pantry and we cleverly put floor to ceiling cabinets to house many kitchen items. The microwave is skillfully hidden behind two doors and at eye level.

The biggest challenge in the designing the space was coordinating all of the materials to work within the kitchen as well as within the rest of the house. Top three notable/custom/unique features. Three notable features include the open sky light with shiplap and rustic pendants. The rustic wood beams and the custom metal hood. We paired the custom metal hood with Subzero Wolf professional cooking appliances. There are 2 farm sinks in this kitchen to fit all their cooking and prepping needs. Lots of detail throughout the space.

This compact Kitchen in a house in Kendalia TX was upgraded. What started with a change of countertops and replacing the cast iron sink became a beautiful update. Apron Front Sink, bead board backsplash, new "old fashioned" faucet and of course, these wonderful Oak Butcher Block Countertops. It really brings the look and feel of a period kitchen. including the Original 1906 Range that the owner still uses on a daily basis. Sometimes we get to do fun projects and this was certainly one of those.

In Peterhead, our project was centred on crafting a kitchen that seamlessly blended traditional design with modern functionality. The client desired a space that retained the charm of classic kitchen styles while incorporating the efficiency of contemporary appliances and features. We selected the Rennie Mackintosh Painted Shaker range, renowned for its timeless elegance. The furniture was painted in a soothing Ivory shade, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The design incorporated traditional cornice, pelmet, and tongue and groove ends, complemented with a combination of knobs and cup handles to maintain the classic aesthetic. The worktops were chosen in 40mm Black American Solid Walnut, providing a luxurious and durable surface that contrasted beautifully with the Ivory cabinets. We fitted the kitchen with top-of-the-line Neff appliances, including a single oven, combination microwave, and an induction hob with an integrated extractor, alongside a full-height fridge freezer, to ensure a high standard of culinary efficiency. Additional features included a Ceramic Double Belfast Sink and a Quooker Flex instant boiling water tap in Stainless Steel, complete with a pull-out spray hose. Sensio LED lighting illuminated the workspace, and white subway tiles added a touch of classic charm. A standout feature was the wrap-around table-height breakfast area created around the peninsula, offering a cosy dining space. The existing floorboards were retained and re-finished to add character and continuity to the kitchen’s overall design.

We’re OK with the sink being off centre - gives that little twist we like and allows for a large free standing cooker to balance. Painted in Little Greene’s ‘Citron’ which feels pretty fresh and a touch zesty paired with the terracotta flooring.
