Split Level 1970 home of a young and active family of four. The main public spaces in this home were remodeled to create a fresh, clean look. The Jack + Mare demo'd the kitchen and dining room down to studs and removed the wall between the kitchen/dining and living room to create an open concept space with a clean and fresh new kitchen and dining with ample storage. Now the family can all be together and enjoy one another's company even if mom or dad is busy in the kitchen prepping the next meal. The custom white cabinets and the blue accent island (and walls) really give a nice clean and fun feel to the space. The island has a gorgeous local solid slab of wood on top. A local artisan salvaged and milled up the big leaf maple for this project. In fact, the tree was from the University of Portland's campus located right where the client once rode the bus to school when she was a child. So it's an extra special custom piece! (fun fact: there is a bullet lodged in the wood that is visible...we estimate it was shot into the tree 30-35 years ago!) The 'public' spaces were given a brand new waterproof luxury vinyl wide plank tile. We are pleased to announce our project has been awarded the 2016 Best Kitchen Renovation under $25,000 by the Home Builders Association of Metro Harrisburg! Kitchen designed by Tracy West, project installed by Robert Sykora, and photos by Elliot Quintin. Jack and Ellen of Red Lion, PA chose a flat panel contemporary door style. The bar hardware complements the cabinets and appliances perfectly. The smoked glass backsplash is a perfect fit. The red glass accent line gives the space an elegant pop of color. Jack and Ellen added their red accessories finalizing the Wow Factor! This space received a total make over including DeWils cabinetry, Alterna flooring and Interceramic backsplash. Cambria quartz countertops and a functional farm sink complete the look.

The brief was to create a feminine home suitable for parties and the client wanted to have a luxurious deco feel whilst remaining contemporary. We worked with a local Kitchen company Tomas Living to create the perfect space for our client in these ice cream colours. The Gubi Beetle bar stools had a bespoke pink leather chosen to compliment the scheme.

A combination of rich colours and textures including the striking dekton trillium worksurfaces and smoked oak slatted wall panelling; our contemporary kitchen project features a floating effect peninsular with a cantilevered breakfast table, adding an open feel to the design and lessening the visual impact of the furniture. a complementing ‘dry bar’ occupies a previously unused area of the room, creating a space suitable for both cooking and entertaining. media furniture and karndean design flooring in glacier oak parquet from the art select collection, perfectly finishes this stunning project.
