We are delighted to share this stunning kitchen with you. Often with simple design comes complicated processes. Careful consideration was paid when picking out the material for this project. From the outset we knew the oak had to be vintage and have lots of character and age. This is beautiful balanced with the new and natural rubber forbo doors. This kitchen is up there with our all time favourites. We love a challenge. MATERIALS- Vintage oak drawers / Iron Forbo on valchromat doors / concrete quartz work tops / black valchromat cabinets.

The existing kitchen was relocated into an enlarged reconfigured great room type space. The ceiling was raised in the new larger space.

This luxury German kitchen has concealed split level dishwasher and concealed ovens, The huge island has a large built in sink with Quooker bronze tap and matching soap dispenser, Miele flush mounted induction hob with attached worktops extractor and a induction Wok hob. A circular breakfast bar with stools and a metal wire feature pendant light. Dining table and a relaxation space, outside has the most amazing entertaining space

In the kitchen, a Bianco white paint finish on Nature Plus doors from Grabill Cabinets create a crisp base off which the glass doors, custom range hood, chrome hardware and woven-look backsplash pop. Sparkling light fixtures abound, complementing the custom silver paint finish on the wet bar cabinetry and shiny mirrored backsplash just off the kitchen.

This was a closed, dark and gloomy kitchen without much light. We transformed it into this beautiful open space. Cabinets are custom, matte finish that are "finger print proof" (maintenance free). Floors are white oak and in a chevron pattern.

A young family of four, have commissioned FPA to extend their steep roofed cottage in the suburban town of Purley, Croydon. This project offers the opportunity to revise and refine concepts and principles that FPA had outlined in the design of their house extension project in Surbiton and similarly, here too, the project is split into two separate sub-briefs and organised, once again, around two distinctive new buildings. The side extension is monolithic, with hollowed-out apertures and finished in dark painted render to harmonise with the somber bricks and accommodates ancillary functions. The back extension is conceived as a spatial sun and light catcher. An architectural nacre piece is hung indoors to "catch the light" from nearby sources. A precise study of the sun path has inspired the careful insertion of openings of different types and shapes to direct one's view towards the outside. The new building is articulated by 'pulling' and 'stretching' its edges to produce a dramatic sculptural interior. The back extension is clad with three-dimensional textured timber boards to produce heavy shades and augment its sculptural properties, creating a stronger relationship with the mature trees at the end of the back garden.
