Our Austin studio decided to go bold with this project by ensuring that each space had a unique identity in the Mid-Century Modern style bathroom, butler's pantry, and mudroom. We covered the bathroom walls and flooring with stylish beige and yellow tile that was cleverly installed to look like two different patterns. The mint cabinet and pink vanity reflect the mid-century color palette. The stylish knobs and fittings add an extra splash of fun to the bathroom. The butler's pantry is located right behind the kitchen and serves multiple functions like storage, a study area, and a bar. We went with a moody blue color for the cabinets and included a raw wood open shelf to give depth and warmth to the space. We went with some gorgeous artistic tiles that create a bold, intriguing look in the space. In the mudroom, we used siding materials to create a shiplap effect to create warmth and texture – a homage to the classic Mid-Century Modern design. We used the same blue from the butler's pantry to create a cohesive effect. The large mint cabinets add a lighter touch to the space. --- Project designed by the Atomic Ranch featured modern designers at Breathe Design Studio. Anna Stathaki The downdraft extractor sinks down to create unhampered views out to the garden, but can handily be raised if you want to screen dirty dished from diners.

This exciting bespoke design was created in collaboration with our client, Interior Design consultant Taylor Smith, who wished to relocate his kitchen to the dining room of his spectacular period home. Our brief was to work around the period features to design a central kitchen which would appear as if a contemporary art installation or ‘pod’ had landed in the middle of this beautiful character filled room. In order to provide a fully functioning kitchen within this centralised design we installed Fisher and Paykel dishwasher drawers, Hotpoint fridge drawers, three BORA hobs, two BORA extractors and a sink with customized Quooker within one side of the large 4 metre island. On the opposite side the client’s desire for the appearance of art was created through the use of metallic bronze panels with a patina finish which we sourced and used to front the run of push opening drawers with walnut interiors. In keeping with the centralised brief, the Miele oven stack was positioned on the middle back wall and surrounded by two glass fronted larder cupboards and four cabinets. LED lighting has been installed within the cabinets and also beneath the Silestone Quartz worktop so that the look of the kitchen evolves from daytime through to night. Custom made brass handles complete the design.

The arched tile wall over the range is the focal point of the Kitchen and elevates the Kitchen to a work of art in it's own right.

Playing with color is one of our favourite thing to do. To complete the transformation, V6B's team paid attention to every detail. The centerpiece of this luxurious kitchen is the stunning Dekton Natura Gloss backsplash, a masterpiece in itself. Its glossy surface reflects light effortlessly, creating an ethereal ambiance that enchants all who enter. The backsplash's subtle veining adds depth and character, elevating the visual appeal to new heights. As your eyes wander, they are met with the double waterfall countertops, a true testament to the artistry of design. These flawless surfaces cascade gracefully, seamlessly blending form and function. ‍ Gleaming brass accent details accentuate the exquisite aesthetics of this luxury kitchen. From handles and fixtures to statement lighting, these shiny brass elements add a touch of regal allure. The homeowner loved the layout of the custom cabinets but did not love the dark color. We had the lower cabinets painted a dark turquoise, not as blue as they look in the photos.
