Brandler London were employed to carry out the conversion of an old hop warehouse in Southwark Bridge Road. The works involved a complete demolition of the interior with removal of unstable floors, roof and additional structural support being installed. The structural works included the installation of new structural floors, including an additional one, and new staircases of various types throughout. A new roof was also installed to the structure. The project also included the replacement of all existing MEP (mechanical, electrical & plumbing), fire detection and alarm systems and IT installations. New boiler and heating systems were installed as well as electrical cabling, mains distribution and sub-distribution boards throughout. The fit out decorative flooring, ceilings, walls and lighting as well as complete decoration throughout. The existing windows were kept in place but were repaired and renovated prior to the installation of an additional double glazing system behind them. A roof garden complete with decking and a glass and steel balustrade system and including planting, a hot tub and furniture. The project was completed within nine months from the commencement of works on site.

Feeling slightly dated from the builder-grade oak cabinets, these Lafayette homeowners decided it was time to freshen up their kitchen. With newly replaced quartz countertops and vinyl tile flooring from a previous update, the remodel would focus on increasing the functionality of their kitchen by replacing the cabinets to extend to the ceiling. This would maximize the homeowner’s storage capacity. We also added new roll-out trays in the pantry for easy access and made the kitchen brighter by adding undercabinet lighting, additional can lights, and updating the existing LED recessed can lights.

В данном объекте существует строгое зонирование на общую и приватные части. Общая зона – гостиная и кухня насыщена деталями - мозаичный пол, витражные светильники, интересная фактура стен. Приватная часть – более аскетична и утилитарна. Коридор в приватной части служит ещё и библиотекой, что позволяет максимально полно использовать пространство. Благодаря правильной организации пространства удалось достичь баланса между созданием общего пространства и камерных личных зон для каждого члена семьи.

En este proyecto los clientes lo tenían muy claro: AGRANDAR LA COCINA sin perder todo el almacenaje que tenía en la habitación contigua. Para ello se proyectó la cocina en 3 zonas diferenciadas, la zona de cocción junto a la ventana, la zona de office con una mesa alta y taburetes y la zona de columnas para almacenaje. Dado que el espacio dispone de mucha luz natural, se optó por un acabado de muebles en madera oscura que contrasta con el gris del pavimento y encimera de trabajo.
