By using contrasting finishes on the built in shelves, the view into the kitchen showcases the Yellow Ware collection of the client while also framing the entrance to the walk in pantry through a french door. The island and the display cabinets are in the same finish with the cherry of the main kitchen accented int eh back of the open shelves and the wood counter tops. This kitchen is reflective of the period style of our clients' home and accentuates their entertaining lifestyle. White, beaded inset, shaker style cabinetry provides the space with traditional elements. The central island houses a fireclay, apron front sink, and satin nickel faucet, soap pump, and vacuum disposal switch. The island is constructed of Pennsylvania cherry and features integral wainscot paneling and hand-turned legs. The narrow space that was originally the butler's pantry is now a spacious bar area that features white, shaker style cabinetry with antique restoration glass inserts and blue painted interiors, a Rohl faucet, and a Linkasink copper sink. The range area is a major feature of the kitchen due to its mantle style hood, handcrafted tile backsplash set in a herringbone pattern, and decorative tile feature over the cooking surface. The honed Belgium bluestone countertops contrast against the lighter elements in the kitchen, and the reclaimed, white and red oak flooring provides warmth to the space. Commercial grade appliances were installed, including a Wolf Professional Series range, a Meile steam oven, and a Meile refrigerator with fully integrated, wood panels. A cottage style window located next to the range allows access to the exterior herb garden, and the removal of a laundry and storage closet created space for a casual dining area.

Villa Bog è lo spazio ideale dove potere trascorrere un periodo di relax in mezzo alla natura senza rinunciare alle comodità di tutti i giorni. A 5km da Città della Pieve, 20km dal Lago Trasimeno, 30km da Perugia e Chianciano Terme, 45km da Assisi e Todi è un punto di partenza ideale dove soggiornare per chi vuole visitare l'Umbria e i suoi incantevoli borghi senza dovere per forza rinunciare alla comodità e fascino di una villa totalmente ristrutturata situata all'interno di un residence. La villa è stata ristrutturata recentissimamente dai proprietari, l'architetto Vitelli Mariaester che si è occupato degli arredamenti e un laureato in ingegneria elettronica Crova Emmanuel che ha curato l'aspetto domotico e l'illuminazione della proprietà. Suddivisa su due livelli, al piano terra si trova un ampio soggiorno con camino che contraddistingue la zona living e si affaccia alla zona pranzo con cucina open-space a vista e uno sbocco diretto alla zona est della proprietà, tramite una terrazza che circonda l'intero fabbricato, la quale conduce alla zona barbecue dove si possono trovare un forno a legna e un braciere attrezzati. Questa unità può ovviamente essere utilizzata anche per altri scopi quali la navigazione internet, o la condivisione tramite protocollo cast/DLNA alle TV presenti nell'immobile (una di loro si trova all'interno di uno schienale del divano del soggiorno al piano terra e compare grazie alla pressione di un tasto sul telecomando).

This view toward the stainless hood and Wolf range top showcase the contrasting colors and finishes. The lighter distressed and painted island is reminiscent of an antique server. A warming drawer is cleverly concealed behind a matching drawer front. There is seating for 4 around the island with book shelves contained behind closed doors. A custom copper farm sink near the range top allows a view to the mud the front of the house. Since the main sink had to be located on an inside wall, open shelves with vintage french enamelware create an open feeling in lieu of a window. The island is lighted by french inspired black metal pendant lights. The random pattern travertine stone floor hides everything while providing a soft coloring to the room. Peter Rymwid

The location of the table overlooking the large back yard and pool brings the beautiful gardens into the kitchen. There is enough room for 10 to sit at the table. The heaviness of the wall oven and refrigerator is lightened with seeded glass doors on a freestanding wall cabinet with arched doors lighted inside. The space is great for entertaining large groups.
