A custom wood entry with sidelights match the triple transom windows featured throughout the house and echo the trim and features seen in the spacious three-car garage. While concentrated on one main floor and a lower level, there is no shortage of living and entertaining space inside. The main level includes more than 2,100 square feet, with a roomy 31 by 18-foot living room and kitchen combination off the central foyer that’s perfect for hosting parties or family holidays. The left side of the floor plan includes a 10 by 14-foot dining room, a laundry and a guest bedroom with bath. To the right is the more private spaces, with a relaxing 11 by 10-foot study/office which leads to the master suite featuring a master bath, closet and 13 by 13-foot sleeping area with an attractive peaked ceiling. The walkout lower level offers another 1,500 square feet of living space, with a large family room, three additional family bedrooms and a shared bath.

This home previously had a very small window above the sink area. We removed the existing window, increased the width,height and shape to add a bay window This addition increased the amount of natural light and the view available. The hand scraped beams were added to enhance the overall essence of the home. The floor is also hand scraped, distressed 3/5/7 mingle with a french bleed. www.press1photos.com

A large kitchen with grey distressed cabinets and warm stained cabinets has so much texture and warmth. A custom wood hood was created on site and add to the rustic appeal. Glass pendants were used over the island. A prep sink was incorporated into the island. The windows all go down to the countertop to maximize the views out the large windows. Transom windows were incorporated on the range wall to let even more light flood in. The granite was run up behind the wolf range to continue the texture.

The kitchen is splendid with knotty alder custom cabinets, handmade peeled bark legs were crafted to support the chiseled edge granite. Unique custom two-tone painted finish includes a crackle accent. Wall cabinet to the counter offers both additional display storage behind the true divided lite seedy glass door and assists create a sense of symmetry flanking the kitchen sink window. The warm hues of the green granite compliment the texture and beautiful depth of the faux finish on the cabinetry; achieving a sophisticated ambiance. The 2” thick walnut island top with a beautiful ogee edge, ties the weight of the heavy rustic beams that line the ceiling of the adjacent keeping room. It easily handles all prep work and landing zone for tasks near the refrigerator & ovens. Classic subway tile for the backsplash, beadboard wainscot, and French revival handles and knobs were chosen to add to the eye-catching old world design.
