Storage Solutions - A tall metal appliance door (WACTT) rolls up smoothly to reveal adjustable shelves positioned only a few inches apart for tray storage. A Gilmans Kitchens and Baths - Design Build Project (REMMIES Award Winning Kitchen) The original kitchen lacked counter space and seating for the homeowners and their family and friends. It was important for the homeowners to utilize every inch of usable space for storage, function and entertaining, so many organizational inserts were used in the kitchen design. Bamboo cabinets, cork flooring and neolith countertops were used in the design. Storage Solutions include a spice pull-out, towel pull-out, pantry pull outs and lemans corner cabinets. Bifold lift up cabinets were also used for convenience. Special organizational inserts were used in the Pantry cabinets for maximum organization. Absolutely stunning Taj Mahal natural quartz countertop fabricated with a waterfall end on both sides. Upper wall cabinets were prepped with amber colored glass inserts. All Gaggenau appliances; 36" refrigerator, 24" microwave and oven, 30" cooktop. Stainless steel toekick throughout to enhance the other chrome and stainless steel hardware and appliances used. Appliance panels were used on the dishwasher and refrigerator. Two finish options are featured; Harbor Mist with Pewter Glaze and a custom high gloss paint. All Wood-Mode cabinets. Having helped this young couple with their bathroom redesign, we were asked this year to help them reconfigure their existing dining room and narrow kitchen into a full width south facing kitchen | diner | family room. The space was split into 3 small areas but by removing the existing rear wall of the original house at ground level we were able to combine all three areas into a huge open plan family room with wall to wall french windows opening onto a new deck and south facing sun drenched garden. The new combined area underwent an extensive refurbishment, with new floor, wall and ceiling finishes and an extensive kitchen redesign with custom door fronts and island for 4.

Our clients have lived in this 1985 North Dallas home for almost 10 years, and it was time for a change. They had to decide whether to move or give the home an update. They were in a small quiet neighborhood tucked away near the popular suburb of Addison and also near the beautiful Celestial Park. Their backyard was like a hidden paradise, which is hard to find in Dallas, so they decided to update the two primary areas that needed it: the kitchen and the master bathroom. The kitchen had a black and white retro checkerboard tile floor, and the bathroom was very Tuscan. There were no cabinets on the main wall in the kitchen before. They were lacking space and functionality and desperately needed a complete overhaul in their kitchen. There were two entryways leading into the kitchen from the foyer, so one was closed off and the island was eliminated, giving them space for an entire wall of cabinets. The cabinets along this back kitchen wall were finished with a gorgeous River Rock stain. The cabinets on the other side of the kitchen were painted Polar, creating a seamless flow into the living room and creating a one-of-a-kind kitchen! Large 24x36 Elysium Tekali crema polished porcelain tiles created a simple, yet unique kitchen floor. The beautiful Levantina quartzite countertops pulled it all together and everything from the pop-up outlets in the countertops to the roll-up doors on the pantry cabinets, to the pull-out appliance shelves, makes this kitchen super functional and updated!

Todd selected the IKEA VOXTORP and RINGHULT cabinet fronts and SEKTION cabinets because the product line checked three key boxes on his wish list: Great pricing, known quality and the modern design style he needed. Todd explains: “I spend a lot of time on HOUZZ and Pinterest so I had a clear vision of what I wanted. With this kitchen I knew that details are important and the closest IKEA is two hours away. I did not want to be making trips back and forth constantly. I wanted to go once, order, get them delivered and be done with it.” He notes that he bought a lot of the fixtures from Amazon, which included open box items to save on cost.
