A young family with kids purchased their first home and contacted me with the task to design an upbeat and energetic space for them, which also will have all the functionality they needed. There were some restrains - a load-bearing beam ran across the space leaving very little wall space on the left available. We've chosen European size appliances and creatively resolved the corner to allow the sink placement. and added a ton of color and shine.

Step into this vibrant and inviting kitchen that combines modern design with playful elements. The centrepiece of this kitchen is the 20mm Marbled White Quartz worktops, which provide a clean and sophisticated surface for preparing meals. The light-coloured quartz complements the overall bright and airy ambience of the kitchen. The cabinetry, with doors constructed from plywood, introduces a natural and warm element to the space. The distinctive round cutouts serve as handles, adding a touch of uniqueness to the design. The cabinets are painted in a delightful palette of Inchyra Blue and Ground Pink, infusing the kitchen with a sense of fun and personality. The surprise in the kitchen is the two-toned effect. Unless you are standing in the kitchen, you don't notice the elegant base cabinetry on the peninsula that has been finished in a blue-green color. This creates more character and another element to increase the "high-end" feel in this affordable upgrade. The homeowners built the property for when their children return home from the Mainland Uk during the holidays, and other visiting friends and family. The stunning two story lodge has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lounge with wood burning stove, a utility room, and dining area off this kitchen. Only the best materials and finishes were used in the kitchen including Quartz, Painted Wood, American Oak and Nickel. The custom palette has a subtle but rich coastal look, in smooth painted Cadet Blue & Porcelain. The compact kitchen still manages to house a fridge freezer, larder, pullout bins, dishwasher and other pullout storage systems. There's even a compact mobile island that will double as a drinks trolley for sunny summer barbeques. Visually the space looks larger with clever tricks such as a white induction hob, integrated cooker hood, undermount quartz sink, bench seating and even a 4in1 boiling water tap, alleviating the need for a kettle, or water filter jug. The overall space is both timeless and elegant.

Designed to impress, thanks to its modern, handleless cabinets, the space has a clean and uninterrupted visual flow. Our commitment to convenience is evident with the inclusion of the Quooker tap, which provides instant boiling water, as and when you need it. Our clients love the brilliance of the Bora hob, which provides a seamless and unobtrusive cooking surface. The Neff ovens, meanwhile, are yet another marker of culinary excellence. An exquisite galley-type island sits at the heart of the kitchen, offering ample workspace and open shelving to the far end – a clever design that ensures easy access to their most-used kitchen essentials. But it's not all about functionality; aesthetics plays a crucial role too. Picture an elegant, white pendant lamp gracefully suspended over the island, casting a warm glow that sets the perfect ambience for cooking and dining. Speaking of dining, our thoughtfully chosen white bar stools with backrests complement the kitchen's aesthetics and provide a comfortable spot from which to savour delicious meals. We’ve also maximised the presence of large glass doors, which flood the kitchen with natural light.
