We have a 3 bedroom downtown NYC, high ceilings and lots of natural light. Needed a really good project to optimize the space and give it a personal feel. Jacqueline did a wonderful project and we are extremely happy with the final results ! It was a crazy time with the pandemic in the middle, and our first project in the city, she has always been available and made the adjustments needed to deliver the results expected. We have a combination of custom built, with customized and standard elements that delivers an outstanding feel and stayed within our budget. We highly recommend the interior design services and management services by Jacquelin.

I hired Jacquelin to redesign a small bedroom in my apartment, and after a brief consultation about my budget, we decided to go for a Design-In-A-Box. I am very happy with the results and I think she did an excellent job balancing the budget with my principal concerns: flexibility of space, movable/multipurpose furniture, and a sleek, modern design. She was easily reachable via email/phone to answer any specific questions on pricing, options, and next steps, and I felt empowered and informed throughout the entire process. The deliverables that I received are detailed and high-quality (2D floor plan, concept drawing, list of furniture + description/exposition where applicable, along with a PDF describing each piece). I love how the designs include a "high-end" + "budget" option for each piece to allow me to mix and match according to my needs. And in particular, Jacquelin went the extra mile to provide me with even more alternatives for my bed, as that was one of the more costly parts of the design (cost in both money + space taken up in the room). I definitely recommend her for interior design work, and I can't wait until all my new furniture is here :)

After we purchased our new townhome and decided to start decorating, I researched and spoke with several designers. What stuck with me, was that right away Jacquelin showed genuine excitement and great vision around the possibilities. The design included a full kitchen, lighting and furniture for the dining and living rooms, colors and painting of the Living area. I had never gone through major redesign or worked with a designer before and was unsure of the process. Jacquelin and team asked me a lot of questions about by tastes, listened to my ideas and brought back a vision that was awesome! They did such a great job of ensuring the design was something that I would love. The result is that they gave me such a beautiful place, one that I couldn't imagine getting to on my own, but it feels 100% mine...and I love it! There are still some rooms that I intend to finish at a later date and Susan and team will be there with me! They were so easy to work with, had great vision and creative ideas, paid attention to detail, masterfully managed all the moving parts and ensured that I would love the results...and I do! I still can't believe how great it looks! Jacquelin and team are true professionals, super creative, great people and great to work with. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for help on a renovation.

I worked with Jacquelin on my formal living room December of 2015. Based on our discussion we decided that Design in a Box would be the perfect fit for us. Working with Jacquelin was great. She was very accessible, extremely professional and delivered the two designs in less than two weeks. Her design choices fit my style perfectly and I was extremely happy with the outcome. My second project with Jacqueline was just as great as the first! A quick but beautiful upgrade to my kitchen was just what we needed to give us an updated look at a reasonable price. Once again, she listened, was considerate of our budget and our ideas and delivered options that were easy to execute and beautiful! It is rare that you find someone who can deliver such high quality work with such consistency. Next up - an outdoor project!!
