Sonata A beautiful composition that comprises of a pair of island units at its generous heart. The soft, two-tone melody of teal and mocha harmonises this scheme in a way that is both subtle and distinctive. The added touch of grooved and textured cabinetry makes this kitchen as unique as the family for which it was created. Bronze handles add a hint of glamour and complement the effect of the windows. Restrained yet welcoming, classic in feel yet with a contemporary panache, this design hits all the right notes.

The new kitchen extension provided a foot print of approx 8.6m by 5.6m. We took a small space out of this footage by elongating the hallway to provide a utility room opposite a full height, double coat cupboard before entering the new kitchen. As this is a new part of the house we embraced the modernity and choose sleek, handleless blue cabintery. The bronzed mirrored splashback adds warmth as well as maximising the sense of space. Coastal Luxe style kitchen in our Cremorne project features cabinetry in Dulux Blue Rapsody and Snowy Mountains Quarter, and timber veneer in Planked Oak.

Our Austin studio decided to go bold with this project by ensuring that each space had a unique identity in the Mid-Century Modern style bathroom, butler's pantry, and mudroom. We covered the bathroom walls and flooring with stylish beige and yellow tile that was cleverly installed to look like two different patterns. The mint cabinet and pink vanity reflect the mid-century color palette. The stylish knobs and fittings add an extra splash of fun to the bathroom. The butler's pantry is located right behind the kitchen and serves multiple functions like storage, a study area, and a bar. We went with a moody blue color for the cabinets and included a raw wood open shelf to give depth and warmth to the space. We went with some gorgeous artistic tiles that create a bold, intriguing look in the space. In the mudroom, we used siding materials to create a shiplap effect to create warmth and texture – a homage to the classic Mid-Century Modern design. We used the same blue from the butler's pantry to create a cohesive effect. The large mint cabinets add a lighter touch to the space. --- Project designed by the Atomic Ranch featured modern designers at Breathe Design Studio. This Carmel Valley complete remodel truly defines an open-concept living space that is elegant, functional, and full of beautiful finishes. Taking center stage in the kitchen is a gorgeous, large island that features cabinetry in a very on-trend jewel toned blue hue that perfectly accents the primary palette of white and grey throughout the rest of the space. Other beautiful details include the custom hood, walk-in pantry, and the unique marbled mosaic subway tiled backsplash. Subtle brass fixtures and accents accentuate the modern feel while top of the line appliances add the finishing touch for this home chef. Fortunately, one of the best benefits of living in southern California are the mild temperatures that make it possible to enjoy outdoor living spaces nearly year-round. The addition of a large sliding door in the family room expanded this client’s access to a lovely outdoor patio and eating area, complete with recessed heating for cooler months, while a beautiful custom fireplace/entertainment center created the perfect spot for the whole family to enjoy.

The kitchen in this Nantucket vacation home with an industrial feel is a dramatic departure from the standard white kitchen. The custom, blackened stainless steel hood with brass strappings is the focal point in this space and provides contrast against white shiplap walls along with the double islands in heirloom, black glazed walnut cabinetry, and floating shelves. The island countertops and slab backsplash are Snowdrift Granite and feature brass caps on the feet. The perimeter cabinetry is painted a soft Revere Pewter, with counters in Absolute Black Leathered Granite. The stone sink was custom-made to match the same material and blend seamlessly. Twin SubZero freezer/refrigerator columns flank a wine column, while modern pendant lighting and brass hardware add a touch of glamour. The coffee bar is stocked with everything one would need for a perfect morning, and is one of the owners’ favorite features.
