Designer Jodi Tramontin, CMKBD decided to create a "Contemporary Craftsman" inspired kitchen which would flow with the rest of the home's architecture, design and materials. In order to create the perfect Contemporary Craftsman-inspired kitchen, she selected Dura Supreme's popular Lynden door style. The clean, simple lines on the doors rails and stiles along with the beautiful bevel detailing are the perfect complement to the Contemporary Craftsman-inspired kitchen that she wanted to create. After the door style was decided on, it was time to create the color palette. When creating a color palette for a particular space, start by determining what items that will be staying in the room that you’ll need to coordinate with. For example, for Jodi’s new kitchen she needed to work with the existing paint, millwork (casings, trim, interior doors), and hardwood floor colors. “One of the most common questions I get as a designer is "Do my cabinets have to match the rest of the woodwork within the home?" My answer to that question is "No - absolutely not". I love mixing different wood tones within any given space to create a unique and comfortable look.” – Jodi Tramontin, CMKBD After looking at many different options for the cabinet finishes, Jodi decided on Dura Supreme's “Hazelnut stain” on Cherry for the perimeter cabinetry and Dura Supreme’s “Latte” paint on Maple/Paintable for the island. Both of these finishes coordinate beautifully with the existing paint, millwork, and hardwood. Jodi also opted to go with a Low Sheen level on the stained finishes. Dura Supreme's standard sheen level on our stains is a semi-gloss finish while the low sheen is considered a satin finish. The low sheen option is just as strong and durable as our standard sheen. Overhead kitchen cabinets originally above the cooktop made the kitchen feel dark and cramped. To create a brighter open space the bank of upper cabinets were removed and a new airy glass range-hood was installed. A full-height wall of new white subway tile with a colorful, horizontal band of custom-made glass tile gives this Mid-Century kitchen personality while visually expanding the space. Il locale è stato controsoffittato in parte, in modo da sfruttare lo spazio sovrastante come ripostiglio. il colore rosso si ritrova in numerosi elementi: la nicchia ricavata a muro che era un vecchio camino, la cupola del lampadario...

Reforma integral de una vivienda en los Pirineos Catalanes. En este proyecto hemos trabajado teniendo muy en cuenta el espacio exterior dentro de la vivienda. Hemos jugado con los materiales y las texturas, intentando resaltar la piedra en el interior. Con el color rojo y el mobiliario hemos dado un carácter muy especial al espacio. Todo el proyecto se ha realizado en colaboración con Carlos Gerhard Pi-Sunyer, arquitecto del proyecto.

One of our modern Italian Kitchen projects finished in 2016 for a beautiful contemporary style home on Long Island, NY. The kitchen is from our A-Line Italian products, with a mix of red and white lacquer finish and integrated door handles. Kitchen style, colors and overall design was put together by our in-house designers based on client's vision, giving the home the modern, up-beat and energized feel our client wanted.

La cucina è stata parzialmente recuperata e ampliata per il nuovo locale che era una volta uno studio. Nel bancone rifatto completamente abbiamo inserito il vecchio blocco del forno da 90cm. Anche il bancone inox della zona lavaggio è stato recuperato mentre gli schienali in marmo e i piani sono quasi tutti nuovi per riadattare i moduli dell'arredo al nuovo spazio. Le colonne dispensa e storage sono profonde 70 cm e hanno all'interno ripiani sfalsati per poter vedere ed estrarre gli oggetti riposti.

The Royal Mile Kitchen perfects the collaboration between contemporary & character features in this beautiful, historic home. The kitchen uses a clean and fresh colour scheme with White Quartz worktops and Inchyra Blue painted handleless cabinets throughout. The ultra-sleek large island provides a stunning centrepiece and makes a statement with its wraparound worktop. A convenient seating area is cleverly created around the island, allowing the perfect space for informal dining.

Beautiful remodel of outdated kitchen. Bright, contrasting red upper kitchen cabinets mixed with melodic gray tones of bottom kitchen cabinets. The black countertop balances with silver fittings and faucets for an exciting modern look within this space. We resurfaced and repainted all cabinets, installed new granite countertop, installed mauve glass tile, installed new pulls and handles, and upgraded the appliances. The end result is amazing area to cook and entertain every day.

For this Falls Church family, the need for a new spacious and bright kitchen to replace their small and dark kitchen was long overdue. The previous arrangement of the kitchen island and adjacent column limited the space and expanse of the kitchen space. By removing the nearby central column and replacing the previous island with a large new island oriented parallel to the new stove top, created a more open space including new storage space and seating capacity. The kitchen island's white quartzite/granite counter top along with the added pendant lights, adds to the brightness of the new kitchen. The maple/dove white cabinetry with cinder glaze and stainless steel appliances provide further brightness and openness to the kitchen. The cherry/kaffe island panels and new hardwood floor maintains the classic look and balances the all white cabinets and counter tops. New lighting under the cabinets further adds brightness to the kitchen. This lovely kitchen remodel brings in new light to this lovely home.

La posa delle piastrelle di rivestimento della fascia della cucina è stata studiata per spezzare i due blocchi bianchi dati dalla base e dai pensili, pur garantendo continuità cromatica grazie alle fughe bianche. Lo schema di posa a spina, infine, rende particolare la parte non interessata da mobili.
