The goal for this kitchen was to take it out of the 90's and give it a traditional yet timeless feel. The homeowner wanted a style that would age well with the home with some of the sought after materials and features that people might look for in historic homes.

This old home is in a trendy part of town and needed a kitchen to match its stylish owners and surrounding. For this space, we opted to focus on materials and finishes as the “look at me” items such as the custom vent hood surround, the island countertop, and the bead board ceiling. Embracing an authentic Craftsman-styled kitchen was one of the primary objectives for these New Jersey clients. They envisioned bending traditional hand-craftsmanship and modern amenities into a chef inspired kitchen. The woodwork in adjacent rooms help to facilitate a vision for this space to create a free-flowing open concept for family and friends to enjoy. This kitchen takes inspiration from nature and its color palette is dominated by neutral and earth tones. Traditionally characterized with strong deep colors, the simplistic cherry cabinetry allows for straight, clean lines throughout the space. A green subway tile backsplash and granite countertops help to tie in additional earth tones and allow for the natural wood to be prominently displayed. The rugged character of the perimeter is seamlessly tied into the center island. Featuring chef inspired appliances, the island incorporates a cherry butchers block to provide additional prep space and seating for family and friends. The free-standing stainless-steel hood helps to transform this Craftsman-style kitchen into a 21st century treasure.

A breakfast perch incorporated into the Island design is finished in a dark stained oak tying in with the window joinery.

This stunning, timeless kitchen remodel completely changed the feel of the kitchen area. The kitchen previously had dark, wood-stained cabinetry as well as dark, cherry hardwood flooring throughout the home. When designing the new space, we made it clear to brighten up the cabinetry, but still, coordinate with the existing colors in the home. With this being said, the cabinetry features a custom paint finish, complete with a glaze. We also incorporated an island in this kitchen, giving this space even more storage as well as countertop space, giving this homeowner her dream kitchen she will be able to enjoy for years to come!

Homeowner did a complete overhaul remodel of their home, after the area surrounding it was devastated by a straight-line winds & a tornado. Their contractor custom-made the island top, wood hood and farm sink base out of the downed trees from their property.

This client wanted a new kitchen with an updated look and this new kitchen has it all. Fieldstone cabinetry in the Roseburg door style in a white painted finish gives the perimeter a clean simple look and the Blueberry painted island gives some pop. Floating shelves with task lighting provide storage and a great area to display some of the clients flair. The full wall subway tile on the sink and range walls looks amazing and ties in nicely with the Statuary Classique quartz countertops. Nickel gap wall cladding behind the coffee bar along with the Acacia solid wood countertop gives this area its own feel. All the finishes and materials including the lighting were well thought out by the client and look amazing together. One of our coolest kitchens this year.
