NW interior design provides a high quality personal design service specialising in residential renovation and refurbishment projects. Based near Tunbridge Wells, we design inspiring traditional and contemporary spaces that look wonderful and work perfectly. Laurane re-trained in Interior design after leaving her City career in banking behind to fulfill her passion for renovation and interiors. After completing her training, Laurane gained a wealth of experience and knowledge working for a small independent kitchen and fitted furniture company. This provided a foundation for providing vital experience for the interior services needed when restoring/renovating a property. NW came from two interior design friends creating a business together, sharing their own special experience to provide a comprehensive interior design service. We have a wealth of experience and knowledge to guide our clients successfully and cost effectively through their project whether it is a large renovation or re-design of a single room. We work with clients from concept to completion to create exceptional design solutions that are both inspirational and practical.

We chose NW interior design to help with our new kitchen as part of a large extension project. This proved to be one of the best decisions we made. The attention to detail was way beyond that which we were being offered as part of a “free” design service from the kitchen retailers, and the kitchen was a significant chunk of our budget. The ideas were plentiful and original and helped us achieve an end result that works perfectly in every way for our lifestyle. The kitchen is the focal point of the house. The fees were a small part of the total cost and represented excellent value. This was one of the best investments we made!

We hired Lauranne in August 2016 to help us with the interior design for the sitting room and family room of our newly renovated house. To date Lauranne is still working with us as we continue into other areas of the house such as the bedrooms and bathrooms. We have been so impressed with Lauranne's attention to detail, efficiency and idea generation and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for assistance with the design of their home.

Laurane did a first rate job designing our kitchen a number of years ago and we then asked her to return to assist with two bedrooms, including the master bedroom, which needed a complete overhaul. Laurane was incredibly professional and patient throughout the projects and we are extremely pleased with the results. She has an excellent eye and can source beautiful fabrics. In addition, she has a very strong eye for detail. She understood what we were looking for and was willing to work to our budget on each occasion, especially in relation to the second bedroom. The kitchen really has a wow factor and is a fantastic space for cooking and entertaining. Photos of the kitchen are on the NW website.

Laurane provided a fantastic and professional service to us. She took on board our ideas and provided us with great suggestions for revamping our kitchen. She was also very mindful of our budget which was greatly appreciated. Lovely service all in all!

Laurane was very professional. Listened to what I was looking for my kitchen and a shower room. Both room designs used the space really well and the kitchen is easy to use. The fittings and fixtures recommendef are great - and both are much admired. Laurane also worked very well to my budget. I would recommend her highly.

I have used Laurane for several projects in my house. When designing my new kitchen she showed more attention to detail and imagination than either of the other well known high end kitchen companies I also briefed. I am delighted with the result and then used her to redesign my lounge and family room too. She listens, really listens to your needs. Perfect blend of attention to detail ( no detail is too small!) and practicality but also has a very good eye for design and has sourced several pieces that really make the room.
