Una cucina parallela, con zona lavoro e colonna forno da un lato e colonna frigo, dispensa e tavolo sull'altro lato. Per guadagnare spazio è stata realizzata una panca su misura ad angolo. This re-imagined open plan space where a white gloss galley once stood offers a stylish update on the traditional kitchen layout. Individually spaced tall cabinets are recessed in to a hidden wall to the left to create a sense of a wider space than actually exists and the removal of all wall cabinets opens out the room to add much needed light and create a vista. Focus is drawn down the kitchen elongating it once more with the use of patterned tiles creating a central carpet. Katie Lee

This kitchen boasts white oak upper cabinets and light green lower cabinets with Euro style flat front full overlay doors and drawers. The hexagon tile backsplash extends to the ceiling around the vent hood and window. The waterfall countertop on the island adds a beautiful focal point to this kitchen.

Concrete – New ideas for Kitchens. In a minimalist setting, “concrete” always presents a strong presences in the room. In the handle-less CONCRETE-A kitchens from LEICHT , the dark grey furniture with a surface of genuine concrete (brasilia), provide an impressive visual centre. Island unit and cupboard run are offset by white tall units, integrated in the wall. The island unit rises freely into the room between the generous window surfaces, almost floating above the light floor. An asymmetric, almost playful, wall shelf unit loosens the calm arrangement of the handle-less floor units. The 5 mm thick worktop of hot-rolled steel provides an extremely elegant contrast to the concrete surfaces of the kitchen fronts.

Our Austin studio decided to go bold with this project by ensuring that each space had a unique identity in the Mid-Century Modern style bathroom, butler's pantry, and mudroom. We covered the bathroom walls and flooring with stylish beige and yellow tile that was cleverly installed to look like two different patterns. The mint cabinet and pink vanity reflect the mid-century color palette. The stylish knobs and fittings add an extra splash of fun to the bathroom. The butler's pantry is located right behind the kitchen and serves multiple functions like storage, a study area, and a bar. We went with a moody blue color for the cabinets and included a raw wood open shelf to give depth and warmth to the space. We went with some gorgeous artistic tiles that create a bold, intriguing look in the space. In the mudroom, we used siding materials to create a shiplap effect to create warmth and texture – a homage to the classic Mid-Century Modern design. We used the same blue from the butler's pantry to create a cohesive effect. The large mint cabinets add a lighter touch to the space. --- Project designed by the Atomic Ranch featured modern designers at Breathe Design Studio.
