The traditional allure of this kitchen design in Tustin permeates every aspect of the space, from the dark wood beaded inset cabinetry to the Archive Design custom hood. As the hub of activity in the home, a kitchen sets the tone for your home style, and this kitchen remodel was designed to be a style icon. The deep, rich tones of the Bentwood Luxury Kitchens cabinetry include dark wood finish perimeter cabinets and a black finish island. An undercabinet wine refrigerator, wine storage area with backlit LED lighting, and custom tiles with embossed wine tags are a perfect addition for a wine connoisseur’s kitchen design. The custom bar offers a unique feature for this sociable space, including a backlit bar sink and LED lighting under the featured Grey Goose vodka bottles. The fireplace has a water feature and a custom wrought iron fireplace gate. Texture and color play a significant role in this kitchen design. Kitchen makeover - The original dark brown cabinets were refinished with a more modern white finish. Many of the upper cabinets and the window over the sink were removed to make room for a larger window to allow more natural light to enter the space. A custom built island was added allowing for more storage space and a great work and entertaining space. Reclaimed wood shelving was added where some of the upper cabinets were removed to help complete the look of this new, open and modern kitchen space.

This beautiful and inviting retreat compliments the adjacent rooms creating a total home environment for entertaining, relaxing and recharging. Soft off white painted cabinets are topped with Taj Mahal quartzite counter tops and finished with matte off white subway tiles. A custom marble insert was placed under the hood for a pop of color for the cook. Strong geometric patterns of the doors and drawers create a soothing and rhythmic pattern for the eye. Balance and harmony are achieved with symmetric design details and patterns. Soft brass accented pendants light up the peninsula and seating area. The open shelf section provides a colorful display of the client's beautiful collection of decorative glass and ceramics.

Cet ancien cabinet d’avocat dans le quartier du carré d’or, laissé à l’abandon, avait besoin d’attention. Notre intervention a consisté en une réorganisation complète afin de créer un appartement familial avec un décor épuré et contemplatif qui fasse appel à tous nos sens. Nous avons souhaité mettre en valeur les éléments de l’architecture classique de l’immeuble, en y ajoutant une atmosphère minimaliste et apaisante. En très mauvais état, une rénovation lourde et structurelle a été nécessaire, comprenant la totalité du plancher, des reprises en sous-œuvre, la création de points d’eau et d’évacuations. Les espaces de vie, relèvent d’un savant jeu d’organisation permettant d’obtenir des perspectives multiples. Le grand hall d’entrée a été réduit, au profit d’un toilette singulier, hors du temps, tapissé de fleurs et d’un nez de cloison faisant office de frontière avec la grande pièce de vie. Le grand placard d’entrée comprenant la buanderie a été réalisé en bois de noyer par nos artisans menuisiers. Celle-ci a été délimitée au sol par du terrazzo blanc Carrara et de fines baguettes en laiton. La grande pièce de vie est désormais le cœur de l’appartement. Pour y arriver, nous avons dû réunir quatre pièces et un couloir pour créer un triple séjour, comprenant cuisine, salle à manger et salon. La cuisine a été organisée autour d’un grand îlot mêlant du quartzite Taj Mahal et du bois de noyer. Dans la majestueuse salle à manger, la cheminée en marbre a été effacée au profit d’un mur en arrondi et d’une fenêtre qui illumine l’espace. Côté salon a été créé une alcôve derrière le canapé pour y intégrer une bibliothèque. L’ensemble est posé sur un parquet en chêne pointe de Hongris 38° spécialement fabriqué pour cet appartement. Nos artisans staffeurs ont réalisés avec détails l’ensemble des corniches et cimaises de l’appartement, remettant en valeur l’aspect bourgeois. Un peu à l’écart, la chambre des enfants intègre un lit superposé dans l’alcôve tapissée d’une nature joueuse où les écureuils se donnent à cœur joie dans une partie de cache-cache sauvage. Pour pénétrer dans la suite parentale, il faut tout d’abord longer la douche qui se veut audacieuse avec un carrelage zellige vert bouteille et un receveur noir. De plus, le dressing en chêne cloisonne la chambre de la douche. De son côté, le bureau a pris la place de l’ancien archivage, et le vert Thé de Chine recouvrant murs et plafond, contraste avec la tapisserie feuillage pour se plonger dans cette parenthèse de douceur.

This unique kitchen design is a combination of a traditional shaker door style, paired with modern-flat panel doors, from the Biefbi collections of 'Diamante' and 'BK System". The Diamante units are lacquered white with a raised solid oak center panel with built-in recessed finger pulls that creates a unique shaker door with integrated handles. The BK System modern units are made with high gloss laminate in the colour "corda". It uses a combination of handle-less aluminum profiles and handles. The 'Diamante' main kitchen wall includes base units for the cooktop and storage, wall units and glass wall units with integrated flush LED lights. The "Diamante" island includes a sink drawer unit and custom panel front dishwasher, garbage pull-out and pan drawer pull-out. The "BK System" units are used for the refrigerator and oven wall, which includes both the door fronts for integrated appliances and for the tall unit storage. The beverage centre/coffee bar, and tall dining room storage, are all done with the same taupe high gloss laminate finishes and wood laminate accents.

The large center island provides ample amounts of counter space suited for preparing large family dinners or entertaining a small group of close friends.
