A bespoke, handmade Shaker style kitchen with ‘in-frame’ mortice and tennon jointed doors hung with traditional burnished brass butt hinges. This luxurious kitchen features Oak dovetailed and polished drawer boxes on soft-close concealed runners and rigid Birch plywood carcasses. All units have been factory painted in Basalt Blue from Little Greene Paint & Paper, to complement the worktops in Silestone Quartz Blanco Zeus extreme. All cup handles and knobs are in burnished brass. The range cooker is by Mercury, whilst all other appliances are from Bosch. The brassware is from Perrin & Rowe. Harvey Ball Photography Ltd

For all lovers of country style, we turn the hub of the home at @sundale_house, a 1920s home into a dream entertaining space that our client has dreamed about for so many years. When our client first moved into the property they only wanted to update the existing kitchen as they didn’t feel they needed to invest in a brand new kitchen at that time. Fast forward a few years later and we have completed the space with a handmade bespoke kitchen by PF. Each area is dedicated to something new and enticing and makes the kitchen a fun place to be. The home is full of all things hygge and the design is shown throughout cosy moments of comfort and appreciation being created in everyday life. The paint colours show this fabulously – Slaked Lime and Slaked Lime Dark both by Little Greene were chosen. We hand-painted the kitchen island in the dark colour of the two. Both colours are pure and neutral made with a combination of minerals to give a warm and soft appearance. Carefully considering the layout, an L-shape was best to take advantage of all walls and where an island could sit in the middle dividing the different zones of the living space. The space was also big enough for a separate bespoke unit that houses the Fisher & Paykel fridge freezer. When looking at the island in more detail this piece of furniture has been designed solely for a prep station. We are loving the frontage that is open with slated timber at the bottom. On the main kitchen run, we find not only a breakfast pantry but a dresser with plenty of bespoke storage for those items that are bulky for the main worktop. Both are built with bi-fold doors and integrated LED lighting, so each of the cabinets can be opened up into the space and closed away when not in use. In between these is the Steel Cucine Ascot Range Cooker in stainless steel with a stunning bespoke mantle positioned above and a hand-silvered antiqued mirror splashback. Taking our attention to other parts of the design, we find a beautiful sink area located underneath a window featuring a Shaws’ sink and Perrin & Rowe taps. There’s also plenty of alternative storage such as wooden open shelves, a hidden wine rack and convenient pull-out drawers. As the client stated… “styling and turning our 1920s house into our perfect family home.”

We wanted to create a space where all the family would could get together and enjoy or entertain friends. We designed a warm palette of taupes, creams and brass fittings. The quartz surfaces gave the kitchen a beautiful gloss finish with the wood panelling to the front of the island the perfect finishing and unique touch.

A beautiful in-frame kitchen manufactured by our British supplier Stoneham in there 'Penshurst' range. A solid wood Oak painted door with inner cock beading, really sets this kitchen apart and painted in Farrow & Ball colours. The island is over 4m in length and offers the perfect breakfast bar fro 4 people to enjoy tea and coffee int he mornings. But the real 'wow' factor comes from the tall bank of units, that contain a hidden drink station and bar area behind mirrored pocket doors. With the rich walnut veneer interiors contrasting beautifully with the external door colour. Either side of them are two secret hidden doors, one leading to the utility room and the other leading to the children's playroom. No detail was left un-turned.

In contrast to the splash back, the beautiful simplicity of the eating station and seating area is directly inspired by the naturalistic wooden feel of Scandinavian kitchen design. This creates an interesting contrast between the separate zones of the kitchen and clearly denotes a different use for each part of the space.

A spacious Tudor Revival in Lower Westchester was revamped with an open floor plan and large kitchen with breakfast area and counter seating. The leafy view on the range wall was preserved with a series of large leaded glass windows by LePage. This luxurious kitchen features Oak dovetailed and polished drawer boxes on soft-close concealed runners and polished Birch plywood 18mm solid backed carcasses. The island units are factory painted in Dolphin from Little Greene Paint & Paper and all other units are factory painted in Stone II from the Paint & Paper Library. The overall colour scheme is complemented by the White Carrara Quartz worktops All cup handles and knobs are in an Oxford stainless steel finish.
