Stunning basement cellar in the heart of Southsea, Hampshire. Beautiful use of the space underground and still capturing the courtyard garden within easy access of the kitchen and snug area. Remarkable that we are underground but the light still pours in from the open space outside. Perfect marriage of basement/cellar living, linked to outdoor life. Everything revolves around the 3.9m long island which allows you to cook and serve your guest and still be social, rather than cut off form the party. The island has vast storage on both sides of the island and includes, a pull-out bins system, drawers, wine cooler and enough seating for 6 people or just a romantic meal for two.

Kitchen is expansive with custom cabinets, black hardware, 2 silver pendant lights, a huge kitchen island with calcutta stone countertops throughout, kitchen appliances, with hidden refrigerator, and finally a hidden pantry.

Maple and rosewood furnishings stand with formal suggestions of Giorgio de Chirico's metaphysics. An ancient Roman decoration from the house of emperor Massenzio in Piazza Armerina (Sicily) is actualized in white & black marble, which requests to be weakened by dark and reflective colored walls. At the opposite, bathrooms release energy by strong colors and polychrome inserts, offering the comfortable use of an ergonomic bath-shower - equipped with a waterproof TV - a TylöHelo steam shower and sound system. The RiFRA Milano "One" kitchen has to be discreet, concealing its technological features under the light glossy finishing of its doors. For this modern kitchen we used marble flooring, stone countertops, recessed lighting and a custom ceiling to set off the design elements and we couldn't be more pleased. A kitchen island with seating for 5? Yes please!
