Palo Alto Traditional Kitchen Renovation as part of whole home renovation. This classic kitchen made of cherry wood includes a built in hood vent, a copper farmhouse sink, an elegant large kitchen island, oil rubbed bronze faucets, a window over the kitchen sink, and recessed lighting. Notice Landmark Metalcoat accent tiles on the backsplash.

Located near the base of Scottsdale landmark Pinnacle Peak, the Desert Prairie is surrounded by distant peaks as well as boulder conservation easements. This 30,710 square foot site was unique in terrain and shape and was in close proximity to adjacent properties. These unique challenges initiated a truly unique piece of architecture. Planning of this residence was very complex as it weaved among the boulders. The owners were agnostic regarding style, yet wanted a warm palate with clean lines. The arrival point of the design journey was a desert interpretation of a prairie-styled home. The materials meet the surrounding desert with great harmony. Copper, undulating limestone, and Madre Perla quartzite all blend into a low-slung and highly protected home. Located in Estancia Golf Club, the 5,325 square foot (conditioned) residence has been featured in Luxe Interiors + Design’s September/October 2018 issue. The homeowners expanded their kitchen to accommodate their entertainment needs. We were able to put an 8' island with seating to ground the space with a warm stain on Heartwood Maple on the perimeter by Wood Mode Cabinetry. To follow the modern rustic look we used a cast iron farm sink by Kohler. The homeowners choose Wolf Sub Zero appliances that would make any chef envious. To avoid too much stainless steel we paneled the refrigerator to allow it to blend into the cabinetry. We added a two drawer under counter refrigerator for quick access to drinks at the end of the island.
