Embracing an authentic Craftsman-styled kitchen was one of the primary objectives for these New Jersey clients. They envisioned bending traditional hand-craftsmanship and modern amenities into a chef inspired kitchen. The woodwork in adjacent rooms help to facilitate a vision for this space to create a free-flowing open concept for family and friends to enjoy. This kitchen takes inspiration from nature and its color palette is dominated by neutral and earth tones. Traditionally characterized with strong deep colors, the simplistic cherry cabinetry allows for straight, clean lines throughout the space. A green subway tile backsplash and granite countertops help to tie in additional earth tones and allow for the natural wood to be prominently displayed. The rugged character of the perimeter is seamlessly tied into the center island. Featuring chef inspired appliances, the island incorporates a cherry butchers block to provide additional prep space and seating for family and friends. The free-standing stainless-steel hood helps to transform this Craftsman-style kitchen into a 21st century treasure.

Even interior designers need help when it comes to designing kitchen cabinetry. Lauren of Lauren Maggio Interiors solicited the help of RED PEPPER for layout and cabinetry design while she selected all of the finishes. New Orleans classicism and modern color combine to create a warm family space. The kitchen, banquette and dinner table and family room are all one space so cabinets were made to look like furniture. The space must function for a young family of six, which it does, and must hide countertop appliances (behind the doors on the left) and be compatable with entertaining in the large open room. A butler's pantry and scheduling desk connect the kitchen to the dining room.

Before renovating, this bright and airy family kitchen was small, cramped and dark. The dining room was being used for spillover storage, and there was hardly room for two cooks in the kitchen. By knocking out the wall separating the two rooms, we created a large kitchen space with plenty of storage, space for cooking and baking, and a gathering table for kids and family friends. The dark navy blue cabinets set apart the area for baking, with a deep, bright counter for cooling racks, a tiled niche for the mixer, and pantries dedicated to baking supplies. The space next to the beverage center was used to create a beautiful eat-in dining area with an over-sized pendant and provided a stunning focal point visible from the front entry. Full kitchen renovation. Simple, clean straight lines, crisp colors bring the craftsman / mission style kitchen to life. This project involved closing one entry to the kitchen to provide more counter space, and increasing the main entry, for a better flow. Craftsman style oak inset cabinets in traditional paprika stain, square glass panels on top allow for decorative pieces to be displayed. Custom built-in pantry in contrasting color provides extra storage and compliments crisp design. Under cabinet and in cabinet lighting included. Calacatta Gold Suede Silestone Counter tops. Italian Alps subway tile backsplash. Jenn Air & Sharp appliances.

Incorporating bold colors and patterns, this project beautifully reflects our clients' dynamic personalities. Clean lines, modern elements, and abundant natural light enhance the home, resulting in a harmonious fusion of design and personality. The kitchen seamlessly extends the bold theme with teal backsplash tiles. This was a fun re-model with a fun-loving homeowner. Know locally as 'the 50's guy' the homeowner wanted his kitchen to reflect his passion for that decade. Using Northstar appliances from Elmira Stove Works was just the beginning. We complemented the bright red of the appliances with white cabinets and black counters.
