It was an amazing night and in a combined effort Top Line Furniture and TMA Kitchen Design managed to get a win for New Kitchen $30,001 - $45,000, the amazing kitchen is pictured here. Modern industrial minimal kitchen that is hidden behind folding stainless steel cupboards. Kitchen island with composite stone surface and downdraft extractor. LED multi-light pendant. TV set into the chalboard wall. White ceiling and concrete floor. The kitchen has an activated carbon water filtration system and LPG gas stove, ceiling fan and cross ventilation to minimize the use of A/C. Bi-fold doors to separate the bedroom/living area.

In the case of the Ivy Lane residence, the al fresco lifestyle defines the design, with a sun-drenched private courtyard and swimming pool demanding regular outdoor entertainment. By turning its back to the street and welcoming northern views, this courtyard-centred home invites guests to experience an exciting new version of its physical location. A social lifestyle is also reflected through the interior living spaces, led by the sunken lounge, complete with polished concrete finishes and custom-designed seating. The kitchen, additional living areas and bedroom wings then open onto the central courtyard space, completing a sanctuary of sheltered, social living.

The LED lighting used in and around the cabinetry stops the kitchen from feeling too dark.

The brief for this project involved a full house renovation, and extension to reconfigure the ground floor layout. To maximise the untapped potential and make the most out of the existing space for a busy family home. When we spoke with the homeowner about their project, it was clear that for them, this wasn’t just about a renovation or extension. It was about creating a home that really worked for them and their lifestyle. We built in plenty of storage, a large dining area so they could entertain family and friends easily. And instead of treating each space as a box with no connections between them, we designed a space to create a seamless flow throughout. A complete refurbishment and interior design project, for this bold and brave colourful client. The kitchen was designed and all finishes were specified to create a warm modern take on a classic kitchen. Layered lighting was used in all the rooms to create a moody atmosphere. We designed fitted seating in the dining area and bespoke joinery to complete the look. We created a light filled dining space extension full of personality, with black glazing to connect to the garden and outdoor living.

Matt aluminium kitchen finished with Silestone Aluminio Nube worktops. The island houses the Miele hob with integrated cooktop extractor. Full height fridge and freezer units are integrated in the wall units either side of the ovens.

The Iconic White Quartz allows light to bounce around the kitchen preventing the room from feeling too dark. The same material has also been used to manufacture the 'Integrity Sink' you see here, the sink is a part of the worktop creating a seamless look and feel.
