When a gorgeous sunroom was added to the side of this kitchen, the homeowner had no idea how to remodel the kitchen to work with the new addition. We used our design expertise to create an open plan kitchen worthy of family style cooking and get-togethers. Planning around professional style appliances, we created easy storage, large aisles and decorative accents that bring Joy to the homeowner.

This is a modern kitchen remodeling, custom-made cabinetry with flat panel and modern elegant finger cabinet pulls. Gray royal marble as a countertop & a backsplash, matching floating shelves. LA DEMANDE Pour leur projet de maison en construction, mes client ont souhaité se faire accompagner sur l'aménagement intérieur concernant le choix des couleurs et matériaux, en passant par les papiers peints. LE PROJET LA PIÈCE À VIVRE : À travers un fil conducteur assez contemporain mais avec une dominance boisée et quelques touches de couleurs, la pièce à vivre, ouverte sur la cuisine, est chaleureuse et conviviale. Un meuble bibliothèque sur mesure viendra arboré la télévision ainsi qu'un insert de cheminée visible également de côté depuis la salle à manger. Au coeur de la cuisine, un ilot central permettra de s'attabler pour un repas sur le pouce et de cuisiner en ayant un oeil sur la pièce à vivre. Les façades en bois apporte du caractère et de la chaleur et viennent ainsi contraster le plan de travail et faïence Rem Natural de chez Consentino. LA SALLE DE BAIN PARENTALE : Colorée et haut-de-gamme, un carrelage en marbre de Grespania Ceramica donne du cachet et l'élégance à la pièce. Le meuble vasque couleur terre cuite apporte la touche colorée. LA SALLE DE BAIN DES ENFANTS : Ludique et colorée, la salle de bain des enfants se la joue graphique et texturée. Un carrelage géométrique permet de donner du dynamisme et la touche colorée. UNE ENTRÉE FONCTIONNELLE : Qui n'a jamais rêvé d'avoir de grands rangements pour une entrée fonctionnelle ? C'est chose faite avec ces grands placards sur-mesure en chêne qui viendront rappeler les menuiseries. Un papier peint panoramique géométrique Pablo Emeraude/gris signé Casamance est installé dans la cage d'escalier et vient faire le lien avec la couleur Light Blue No.22 Farrow&Ball.

This 1800's Minneapolis kitchen needed to be updated! The homeowners were looking to preserve the integrity of the home and the era that it was built in, yet make it current and more functional for their family. We removed the dropped header and replaced it with a hidden header, reduced the size of the back of the fireplace, which faces the formal dining room, and took down all the yellow toile wallpaper and red paint. There was a bathroom where the new back entry comes into the dinette area, this was moved to the other side of the room to make the kitchen area more spacious. The woodwork in this house is truly a work of art, so the cabinets had to co-exist and work well with the existing. The cabinets are quartersawn oak and are shaker doors and drawers. The casing on the doors and windows differed depending on the area you were in, so we created custom moldings to recreate the gorgeous casing that existed on the kitchen windows and door. We used Cambria for the countertops and a gorgeous marble tile for the backsplash. What a beautiful kitchen! SpaceCrafting

Condos are often a challenge – can’t move water, venting has to remain connected to existing ducting and recessed cans may not be an option. In this project, we had an added challenge – we could not lower the ceiling on the exterior wall due to a continual leak issue that the HOA has put off due to the multi-million-dollar expense. DESIGN PHILOSOPHY: Work Centers: prep, baking, clean up, message, beverage and entertaining. Vignette Design: avoid wall to wall cabinets, enhance the work center philosophy Geometry: create a more exciting and natural flow ANGLES: the baking center features a Miele wall oven and Liebherr Freezer, the countertop is 36” deep (allowing for an extra deep appliance garage with stainless tambour). CURVES: the island, desk and ceiling is curved to create a more natural flow. A raised drink counter in Sapele allows for “bellying up to the bar” CIRCLES: the 60” table (seating for 6) is supported by a steel plate and a custom column (used also to support the end of the curved desk – not shown) ISLAND CHALLENGE: To install recessed cans and connect to the existing ducting – we dropped the ceiling 6”. The dropped ceiling curves at the end of the island to the existing ceiling height at the pantry/desk area of the kitchen.
