New porcelain wood-look floors were installed in a warm medium tone throughout the home. In the kitchen, we choose two contrasting Homecrest cabinet finishes, Maple Anchor and Maple Iceberg, in the flat panel Bexley style. For the counters, luxurious quartz counters were the obvious choice. We chose Orian Blanco by Silestone for the kitchen, island and bar countertop. A stylish hexagon tile was used for the backsplash. Decorate elements of white lines in scattered tiles were subtly incorporated adding an element of fun to the space.

This Fairbanks ranch kitchen remodel project masterfully blends a contemporary matte finished cabinetry front with the warmth and texture of wire brushed oak veneer. The result is a stunning and sophisticated space that is both functional and inviting. The inspiration for this kitchen remodel came from the desire to create a space that was both modern and timeless. A place that a young family can raise their children and create memories that will last a lifetime.

While we kept the basic layout, nearly every other element in this kitchen was updated and transformed. We worked with our premier specialists, Crystal Cabinets, to create custom cabinetry that optimized the space without increasing the overall footprint. We incorporated the client's traditional style in a way that brought the space into the current century without feel too modern and upgraded the appliances to the best of the best. The split-level countertops were evened out to make the kitchen more open and inviting. We moved the built-in desk to a more functional spot, which allowed us to add more cook and prep space by the stove.

The in-law suite kitchen could only be in a small corner of the basement. The kitchen design started with the question: how small can this kitchen be? The compact layout was designed to provide generous counter space, comfortable walking clearances, and abundant storage. This beautiful Mediterranean - Santa Barbara home has stunning bones, but needed a refresh on some of the finishes. Although we wanted to keep a Spanish feel, we didn't want Mexican tile everywhere. The kitchen received new tile on the backsplash, counter tops, copper sinks and cabinet hardware. The wood floor that runs through out the home replaced the exiting Saltillo tile. The cooking alcove for the range top was dated and arched. We opened up the arch to a more modern square. This gave the space more room. We added new tile that still has a Spanish feel, but a bit more contemporary. The fireplace in the adjoining great room received a new façade with a teal colored aged tile. This updated the space and popped a bit of color in the room.

The range was relocated off of the island and is now a focal point in the room. The stainless hood vent over the range is both beautiful and functional. A walk-in pantry was removed, and now beautiful built-in cabinets act as the pantry.

My clients are big chefs! They have a gorgeous green house that they utilize in this french inspired kitchen. They were a joy to work with and chose high-end finishes and appliances! An 86" long Lacranche range direct from France, True glass door fridge and a bakers island perfect for rolling out their croissants!

Situated at the top of the Eugene O'Neill National Historic Park in Danville, this mid-century modern hilltop home had great architectural features, but needed a kitchen update that spoke to the design style of the rest of the house. We would have to say this project was one of our most challenging when it came to blending the mid-century style of the house with a more eclectic and modern look that the clients were drawn to. But who doesn't love a good challenge? We removed the builder-grade cabinetry put in by a previous owner and took down a wall to open up the kitchen to the rest of the great room. The kitchen features a custom designed hood as well as custom cabinetry with an intricate beaded details that sets it apart from all of our other cabinetry designs. The pop of blue paired with the dark walnut creates an eye catching contrast. Ridgecrest also designed and fabricated solid steel wall cabinetry to store countertop appliances and display dishes and glasses. The copper accents on the range and faucets bring the design full circle and finish this gorgeous one-of-a-kind-kitchen off nicely.

Without changing the footprint, this kitchen received a total makeover, with new profiles for the cabinets and a single-level island.
