Farmhouse style kitchen remodel. Our clients wanted to do a total refresh of their kitchen. We incorporated a warm toned vinyl flooring (Nuvelle Density Rigid Core in Honey Pecan"), two toned cabinets in a beautiful blue gray and cream (Diamond cabinets) granite countertops and a gorgeous gas range (GE Cafe Pro range). By overhauling the laundry and pantry area we were able to give them a lot more storage. We reorganized a lot of the kitchen creating a better flow specifically giving them a coffee bar station, cutting board station, and a new microwave drawer and wine fridge. Increasing the gas stove to 36" allowed the avid chef owner to cook without restrictions making his daily life easier. One of our favorite sayings is "I love it" and we are able to say thankfully we heard it a lot.

This expansive Victorian had tremendous historic charm but hadn’t seen a kitchen renovation since the 1950s. The homeowners wanted to take advantage of their views of the backyard and raised the roof and pushed the kitchen into the back of the house, where expansive windows could allow southern light into the kitchen all day. A warm historic gray/beige was chosen for the cabinetry, which was contrasted with character oak cabinetry on the appliance wall and bar in a modern chevron detail. The project is located in the heart of Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood. The client’s a young family and the husband is a very passionate cook. The kitchen was a gut renovation. The all white kitchen mixes modern and traditional elements with an oversized island, storage all the way around, a buffet, open shelving, a butler’s pantry and appliances that steal the show. Butler's Pantry Details include: -This space is multifunction and is used as an office, a coffee bar and for a liquor bar when entertaining -Dark artichoke green cabinetry custom by Dresner Design private label line with De Angelis -Upper cabinets are burnished brass mesh and antique mirror with brass antiquing -Hardware from Katonah with a antiqued brass finish -A second subzero refrigerated drawer is located in the butler’s pantry along with a second Miele dishwasher, a warming drawer by Dacor, and a Microdrawer by Wolf -Lighting in the desk is on motion sensor and by Hafale -Backsplash, polished Calcutta Gold marble mosaic from Artistic Tile -Zinc top reclaimed and fabricated by Avenue Metal -Custom interior drawers are solid oak with Wenge stain -Trimless cans were used throughout -Kallista Sink is a hammered nickel -Faucet by Kallista

New butler’s pantry we created after removing the stove and the closet in the old kitchen. // This room makes a big design statement, from the hex tile, Alba Vera marble counters, custom cabinets and pendant light fixtures. // The pendant lights are from Circa Lighting, and match the brass of the drawer and door pulls. // The 3x12 subway tile runs from countertop to the ceiling. // One side of the butler’s pantry features a dish pantry with custom glass-front cabinets and drawer storage. // The other side features the main sink, dishwasher and custom cabinets. This butler’s pantry keeps dirty dishes out of sight from the guests and entertaining area. // Designer refers to it as the jewel of the kitchen

Pairing classic white with bold blue cabinetry adds an energetic zip to this small transitional kitchen. Herringbone marble tile and Pental quartz countertops compliment the overall look while natural rift oak flooring provides a touch of warmth. The Wolf range along with Bosch hood creates the desired focal point.

This kitchen's timeless look will outlast the trends with neutral cabinets, an organic marble backsplash and brushed gold fixtures. We included ample countertop space for this family of four to invite friends and entertain large groups. Ten foot ceilings allowed for higher wall cabinets for a more dramatic space.
