A traditional kitchen with touches of the farmhouse and Mediterranean styles. We used cool, light tones adding pops of color and warmth with natural wood.

Two-tone L-shaped kitchen with Kraftmaid Dove White cabinets and a cherry island. This space features gray porcelain tile backsplash, brushed nickel hardware, hardwood flooring, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances.

Homeowner needed more light, more room, more style. We knocked out the wall between kitchen and dining room and replaced old window with a larger one. New stained cabinets, Soapstone countertops, and full-height tile backsplash turned this once inconvenient,d ark kitchen into an inviting and beautiful space. We relocated the refrigerator and applied cabinet panels. The new duel-fuel range provides the utmost in cooking options. A farm sink brings another appealing design element into the clean-up area. New lighting plan includes undercabinet lighting, recessed lighting in the dining room, and pendant light fixtures over the island. New wood flooring was woven in with existing to create a seamless expanse of beautiful hardwood. New wood beams were stained to match the floor bringing even more warmth and charm to this kitchen.

Our Austin studio decided to go bold with this project by ensuring that each space had a unique identity in the Mid-Century Modern style bathroom, butler's pantry, and mudroom. We covered the bathroom walls and flooring with stylish beige and yellow tile that was cleverly installed to look like two different patterns. The mint cabinet and pink vanity reflect the mid-century color palette. The stylish knobs and fittings add an extra splash of fun to the bathroom. The butler's pantry is located right behind the kitchen and serves multiple functions like storage, a study area, and a bar. We went with a moody blue color for the cabinets and included a raw wood open shelf to give depth and warmth to the space. We went with some gorgeous artistic tiles that create a bold, intriguing look in the space. In the mudroom, we used siding materials to create a shiplap effect to create warmth and texture – a homage to the classic Mid-Century Modern design. We used the same blue from the butler's pantry to create a cohesive effect. This kitchen remodel turned an outdated space into an elegant, functional and bright space - an entertainer's dream. White shaker cabinets, white marble countertop on island, dark gray on perimeter. New addition of a dry bar on opposite side of kitchen sink, part of sunroom addition, makes a perfect countertop wraparound addition - more work surface, more serving space.

Tearing down a wall made a big difference on this project. If you view the before photos you will see we removed a wall that was located in the general area of the stools in this picture. To remove the wall we had to install a large double ply 24 inch LVL to clear the span. We also had to connect another beam to the newly installed beam that supported the Master Bedroom above.

The breakfast bar provides space for guests to enjoy a coffee whilst conversing with the cook. The island is the central workstation of the kitchen with ample preparation space either side of the large Miele gas hob. Beneath the island deep handle less drawers provide space for crockery, pots and pans and ingredients. David Barfield

The butler pantry was transformed into a coffee and wine bar. What was once primarily used just for storage is now a highly functional, and popular place. A built in Miele coffee maker is programed to make the perfect cup of coffee for you each time. A wine fridge below ensures you can access the perfect pairing whether in the kitchen or dining room.

The new pantry is located where the old pantry was housed. The exisitng pantry contained standard wire shelves and bi-fold doors on a basic 18" deep closet. The homeowner wanted a place for deocorative storage, so without changing the footprint, we were able to create a more functional, more accessible and definitely more beautiful pantry!
