Our Austin studio decided to go bold with this project by ensuring that each space had a unique identity in the Mid-Century Modern style bathroom, butler's pantry, and mudroom. We covered the bathroom walls and flooring with stylish beige and yellow tile that was cleverly installed to look like two different patterns. The mint cabinet and pink vanity reflect the mid-century color palette. The stylish knobs and fittings add an extra splash of fun to the bathroom. The butler's pantry is located right behind the kitchen and serves multiple functions like storage, a study area, and a bar. We went with a moody blue color for the cabinets and included a raw wood open shelf to give depth and warmth to the space. We went with some gorgeous artistic tiles that create a bold, intriguing look in the space. In the mudroom, we used siding materials to create a shiplap effect to create warmth and texture – a homage to the classic Mid-Century Modern design. We used the same blue from the butler's pantry to create a cohesive effect. The large mint cabinets add a lighter touch to the space. --- Project designed by the Atomic Ranch featured modern designers at Breathe Design Studio. Solid oak with a wire brushed, textured finish. Hand cast concrete work surfaces complement the waxed iron handles, made at a local blacksmith's forge sourced by the craftsmen.

A narrow galley kitchen with glass extension at the rear. The glass extension is created from slim aluminium sliding doors with a structural glass roof above. The glass extension provides lots of natural light into the terrace home which has no side windows. A further frameless glass rooflight further into the kitchen extension adds more light.

This soft and non-slip floor covering is 100% waterproof and perfect for any renovation project as it can be laid on-top of most existing floors without having to remove them. These products can also be fitted on stairs, making them the optimal product for the entire home.

This contemporary kitchen design is the ideal space to host quiet family dinners or large gatherings. The white kitchen cabinets and matching island are perfectly complemented by stainless steel appliances and hardwood floors. The island offers seating, a built in microwave, and extra work space. The wall cabinetry includes a large customized pantry, a beverage bar with bi-fold doors and shelves to display glassware, and a wine refrigerator. The design is complemented by a multi-layered lighting design that includes in cabinet and undercabinet lights, a chandelier, and island lighting. Photos by Susan Hagstrom
