Rénovation complète d'une ancienne cuisine restée dans son jus des années 50/60. Création d'un plafond technique pour intégrer des suspensions au dessus de l'ilôt ainsi qu'un linéaire de spots encastrés. Linéaire de colonne intégrant rangements four, four micro-ondes, cave à vin et réfrigérateur intégré. Revetement des portes en Phoenix noir pour un bel effet velouté élégant et contemporain. Ilôt dinatoire et technique (zone cuisson et eau) meuble en noyer et plan en granit noir Zimbabwe.

La transparence du lustre de cuisine, était nécessaire pour ne pas fermer la vision complète de l'espace. Ampoule à filaments couleur chaude obligatoire, pour faire scintiller l'ensemble la nuit tombée.

Our client wanted a window over the range, and we were able to pull it off. It makes for a bright cooking area during the day, with a view to the outside patio.

This small kitchen space needed to have every inch function well for this young family. By adding the banquette seating we were able to get the table out of the walkway and allow for easier flow between the rooms. Wall cabinets to the counter on either side of the custom plaster hood gave room for food storage as well as the microwave to get tucked away. The clean lines of the slab drawer fronts and beaded inset make the space feel visually larger.

Dave Fox Design Build Remodelers This kitchen remodel combined an under-utilized formal dining room and a small, poorly laid-out, kitchen into one large cohesive and functional space. The two furniture-inspired custom islands are great for entertaining; one can be used for socializing, while the other can be utilized for cleaning and prep work. A custom thin brick surround encompasses the professional-grade gas range with additional spice and oil storage while other interesting materials including, honed quartz countertops, glazed thin brick backsplash, and oversized statement lighting complete this gourmet kitchen.

Custom renovation of 1930's boston area kitchen. The interior space was fully gutted and windows replaced, but the footprint of the existing kitchen was not changed. Counters are honed Bianco Romano granite with special 2 inch wide mitred edge. Stove is 36" Thermador.

This small kitchen space needed to have every inch function well for this young family. Karen Berkemeyer redesigned the heart of this beautiful Ridgefield home to have a better flow in and out of the kitchen, which was previously obstructed by a large peninsula blocking access to the side patio. Working around the two columns in the island was a challenge; Karen tackled this with a Corian concrete material which allowed for the countertop to seamlessly wrap around each column. The island also contained a raised wood-stained section for seating. In order to create a more functional cooking space, the range top and double ovens were moved closer together and counter space was added on both sides. The star of this kitchen is the stunning scallop mosaic backsplash in a glimmering 1/8″ thick rivershell, reflecting back natural light from the above skylights. The kitchen was designed with Pioneer beaded inset custom cabinetry in pearl white.

CUISINE Le mur de la salle de bain fut reculé de 60cm afin d’offrir un espace cuisine confortable pour un usage quotidien. Le plan de travail est doublé d’un bar en quartz* marbrée “calacatta” offrant ainsi près de 2m60 d’espace pour cuisiner, le bar est quant à lui posé sur les meubles de cuisine et comporte un débord arrière de 20 cm pour que les convives puissent y glisser leurs jambes ainsi qu’un jambage pour les diners en tête à tête. Cette configuration a permis de conserver un espace ouvert et fonctionnel tout en faisant office de table à manger (6 convives peuvent s’y installer en tout confort). Les façades des meubles de cuisine sont réalisées sur-mesure chez Bocklip dans une teinte Farrow and Ball « Bleu de Nimes » ainsi qu’avec un placage en chine véritable. La crédence ainsi que l’arrière des meubles présents sous le bar sont recouverts d’un miroir fumé afin de renforcer la sensation d’espace tout en créant un lien avec la table basse du salon. Afin de permettre un usage quotidien confortable la cuisine est également doté de nombreux et profonds placards sur mesures cachés dans le mur jouxtant les plans de travail.
