Mes clients désiraient une circulation plus fluide pour leur pièce à vivre et une ambiance plus chaleureuse et moderne. Après une étude de faisabilité, nous avons décidé d'ouvrir une partie du mur porteur afin de créer un bloc central recevenant d'un côté les éléments techniques de la cuisine et de l'autre le poêle rotatif pour le salon. Dès l'entrée, nous avons alors une vue sur le grand salon. La cuisine a été totalement retravaillée, un grand plan de travail et de nombreux rangements, idéal pour cette grande famille. Côté salle à manger, nous avons joué avec du color zonning, technique de peinture permettant de créer un espace visuellement. Une grande table esprit industriel, un banc et des chaises colorées pour un espace dynamique et chaleureux. Pour leur salon, mes clients voulaient davantage de rangement et des lignes modernes, j'ai alors dessiné un meuble sur mesure aux multiples rangements et servant de meuble TV. Un canapé en cuir marron et diverses assises modulables viennent délimiter cet espace chaleureux et conviviale. L'ensemble du sol a été changé pour un modèle en startifié chêne raboté pour apporter de la chaleur à la pièce à vivre. Le mobilier et la décoration s'articulent autour d'un camaïeu de verts et de teintes chaudes pour une ambiance chaleureuse, moderne et dynamique.

Our clients had previously carried out a lot of work on their old warehouse building to create an industrial feel. They always disliked having the kitchen & living room as separate rooms so, wanted to open up the space. It was important to them to have 1 company that could carry out all of the required works. Design Interiors own team removed the separating wall & flooring along with extending the entrance to the kitchen & under stair cupboards for extra storage. All plumbing & electrical works along with plastering & decorating were carried out by Design Interiors along with the supply & installation of the polished concrete floor & works to the existing windows to achieve a floor to ceiling aesthetic. Tim designed the kitchen in a bespoke texture lacquer door to match the ironmongery throughout the building. Our clients who are keen cooks wanted to have a good surface space to prep whilst keeping the industrial look but, it was a priority for the work surface to be hardwearing. Tim incorporated Dekton worktops to meet this brief & to enhance the industrial look carried the worktop up to provide the splashback. The contemporary design without being a handless look enhances the clients’ own appliances with stainless steel handles to match. The open plan space has a social breakfast bar area which also incorporate’s a clever bifold unit to house the boiler system which was unable to be moved.

Agrandir l’espace et préparer une future chambre d’enfant Nous avons exécuté le projet Commandeur pour des clients trentenaires. Il s’agissait de leur premier achat immobilier, un joli appartement dans le Nord de Paris. L’objet de cette rénovation partielle visait à réaménager la cuisine, repenser l’espace entre la salle de bain, la chambre et le salon. Nous avons ainsi pu, à travers l’implantation d’un mur entre la chambre et le salon, créer une future chambre d’enfant. Coup de coeur spécial pour la cuisine Ikea. Elle a été customisée par nos architectes via Superfront. Superfront propose des matériaux chics et luxueux, made in Suède; de quoi passer sa cuisine Ikea au niveau supérieur !

The light wood finish beaded inset kitchen cabinets from Mouser set the tone for this bright transitional kitchen design in Cohasset. This is complemented by white upper cabinets, glass front cabinet panels with in cabinet lighting, and a custom hood in a matching color palette. The result is a bright open plan space that will be the center of attention in this home. The entire space offers ample storage and work space, including a handy appliance garage. The cabinetry is accented by honey bronze finish hardware from Top Knobs, and glass and metal pendant lights. The backsplash perfectly complements the color scheme with Best Tile Essenze Bianco for the main tile and a border in Pesaro stone glass mosaic tile. The bi-level kitchen island offers space to sit. These Park Slope based Ash slabs were originally from Suffern, NY where they got evicted for blocking the sun from shining on a solar panel cladded rooftop. Luckily, we were able to find them a new home where they would be appreciated. This American White Ash island countertop is sportin' a healthy dose of clear epoxy, White Oak bowties and live edge for days as a great contrast to its modern surroundings.
