These clients needed a larger kitchen for their bustling family. We removed the wall separating the original kitchen and dining room. The kitchen was redesigned using all the new combined space. Casement picture windows were installed to the left and right of the new stainless chimney vent hood letting the natural light and beauty of the property shine in. A glass French door was installed between the new kitchen space and the front formal living room. Uptown chic ( Jazz Singer ) luxury vinyl floating floors were installed. New vinyl flooring looks just like real wood but is waterproof and holds up to a lot more abuse than real wood as well as being maintenance free and easy to clean. The cabinetry was designed using Fabuwood Cabinetry in the Galaxy Frost door style. Paired with the white subway tile backsplash and hood wall; this kitchen really looks bright and clean. By adding a boarder and using the same tiles as the backsplash just set in a different direction added some simple pop to the hood area tile feature. Black pearl granite countertops with a leathered finish top the perimeter cabinetry and MSI Calacatta Verona quartz looks awesome on the island cabinetry. Glass cabinetry doors, floating shelves, and all the other little accents really add to the final design of this space. Now this kitchen has the functionality, storage, and space this family needed and a great new look.

This lakeside retreat has been in the family for generations & is lovingly referred to as "the magnet" because it pulls friends and family together. When rebuilding on their family's land, our priority was to create the same feeling for generations to come. This new build project included all interior & exterior architectural design features including lighting, flooring, tile, countertop, cabinet, appliance, hardware & plumbing fixture selections. My client opted in for an all inclusive design experience including space planning, furniture & decor specifications to create a move in ready retreat for their family to enjoy for years & years to come. We removed a wall separating the eat in kitchen and dining room as well as moved a bathroom to allow for a massive kitchen that is perfect for cooking and entertaining in. Where the wall was removed, we recessed the structural beam into the ceiling so that the space would feel open and like it had been planned that way from the beginning, without having a clunky header dividing it. The client chose custom cabinetry painted white for the perimeter and green on the island, with a custom built table and bench toppers stained to match her hood. Engineered quartz countertops add a bright contemporary feel to this farmhouse kitchen. The barn door and dark colored LVP flooring adds richness to the design.

This kitchen literally doubled in size, when we took over the previous dining room space by knocking out a wall. This family loves to cook, so lots of counter space was a must have as was one island for food prep and one for eating. With young kids and dogs, durable floors were a high priority, and new luxury vinyl flooring (that looks just like hardwood!) was installed throughout the main living spaces as well as the stairs and hallways. The black cabinets, white quartz countertops, gray wash flooring, and brass hardware make for one stunning combination!
