This beautiful Craftsman style kitchen feature Brighton Inset Cherry raise panel door style. With bookend pantries it just makes for a spacious cooking area. Also a larger island it is perfect workspace for a second cook, as well as a eating area for the the family. Soapstone tops in the cooking area and granite on the island with stone back splash just makes this a show kitchen for any home.

Blackdog Builders remodeled this kitchen in Park City, UT. New cabinetry, stainless steel top of the line appliances, and a new layout helped make this space feel more open and inviting. This design incorporates modern farmhouse feels while focusing on the log home's original integrity. A timeliness remodel for a mountain home.

Custom Surface Solutions ( https://www.houzz.com/pro/csstile/__public) - Owner Craig Thompson. I consulted remotely (Round Rock, TX) with a DIY friend remotely (Morgan Hill, CA) on his kitchen backsplash, island toe kick, and countertop remodel project. He provided the labor and materials and I coached him remotely through the project. We collaborated on ideas and tile selections, installation methods and suggestions. A multi-colored 4" x 4" Fireclay tile was used to achieve the desired look. In addition, quartz countertops were installed to complete the kitchen. The project came out great as you can see! Sarah used our Quarter Sawn Mahogany Natural Wood Slab in her kitchen redesign using the #sektion system, pairing it with neutral tones with @cletile tile and @caesarstoneus countertops to accentuate the wood grain of the #Mahogany. The kitchen feels big and airy, with great natural light from the #kitchen window, and extra seating around the waterfall island. If you look closely, you’ll see some additional custom work we did at her request, as Sarah came to us with some inspiration for a unique touch on the outer side of the island. We created wood slats from Mahogany and mounted them to custom panels, which gave her an easier installation and an awesome finish! Looking even further through the room, you’ll see our custom floating shelves to match the Mahogany faces, brass hardware from @cb2 and @cedarandmoss fixtures, and unique pendant lighting from @virginiasin__ to finish it off. This remodel was for a family that wanted a contemporary style kitchen with a mix of modern and traditional elements. To bring in the traditional, we installed hardwood flooring in grey and brown tones and Shaker style cabinets but updated them in a grey-brown color for the perimeter and a navy blue for the island. The cabinet hardware is a bronze color with a modern design-bar pulls instead of knobs for all cabinets and drawers. To emulate the color of the cabinet hardware, the island pendants are a bronze wire fixture in addition to the bronze brackets holding up the wine rack display. The countertops are a marble design quartz and the appliances are stainless steel. The backsplash on the stove wall is a contemporary linen-like tile installed in a chevron design and the coffee bar area is also a linen-like tile but in an abstract design. There is a walnut shelf above the quartz countertops to bring in some warmth and rustic elements to the area. For a more contemporary feel, we left the HVAC exposed but painted it white as well as the traditional wooden beams. Overall, the design team and the clients felt the kitchen lived up to their expectations and more of what a Contemporary design could be. Photos by Rick Young

This spacious kitchen offers a unique layout with an L-shaped island within a U-shaped perimeter. Beautiful custom cabinetry in flat-panel door style creates a timeless kitchen. Maple wood stained a dark, rich custom blend creates a dramatic style with light tops & a warm back splash.

What a transformation! From dated kitchen to modernized farm house! We cleaned this space up with a combination of shaker white painted cabinetry and onyx stained island. The luxurious center piece of Cambria Quartz on the island is off-set by the honed perimeter countertops pull this space together by combining colors from the rock fireplace, slate floors and chevron marble backsplash.

In this kitchen, Waypoint Living Spaces Maple Spice 650F cabinets with flat black hardware pulls were installed. The countertop is Wilsonart Xcaret 3cm Quartz with double roundover edge and 4” backsplash at the mail center cabinets. The backsplash is Jeffrey Court Slate fire and ice brick Mosaic. A Moen Align Spring single handle pull down spring faucet in Spot Resist Stainless and 18” brushed nickel towel bars and Ledge stainless steel sink with bottom sink grid, roll out grid, and bamboo cutting board. The flooring is a mixture of Permastone 16”x16” Indian Slate, Canyon and Verde flooring.
